Ben 10 Reboot Teaser at SDCC and Full Version of Annecy 2016 Preview Clip

@Rexfan1333 I wouldn't worry about it getting canceled. PPG sucks and it got renewed so it's not likely ben 10 will get canceled. I'm actually getting used to the designs they aren't the best but I can definitely see myself watching this and getting some enjoyment.
-
@Omni-Triforcer Yeah, still surprised PPG is getting renewed, I was kinda hoping it get canceled and have Craig McCracken come back giving use a better reboot, but that's not happening.

Personally, I really like the trailer and the clip. I think it will have a Be Cool, Scooby Doo feel to it. What I mean by that is that a lot of people don't like the style but it still has decent story without it being turned into comedy mush like TTG. I am fine with the style and the voices so far. The more I watch it though, the more I agree with the Diamondhead crystals looking like ice.
Just an inactive users opinion on it -
@Omni-Triforcer I like the Ben 10 reboot design of Grandpa Max. By the way are we gonna see cartoon scenes of Grandpa Max shirtless?

Well that's a weird question to ask. I'm a little worried about asking this but why?

Diamondhead you are lame.
Also I'm a good dancer, right? -
I've seen some people compare the Ben 10 reboot to Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures, the show based on Ben's aliens that was focused on in the Original Series episode of the same name. I have to say, that's a pretty good comparison right there and pretty much makes that episode and the reboot more ironic now.
-
I think the reboot looks nothing like that and actually looks better then superhero buddies. I feel its in no way a good comparison.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa People like to exaggerate (they only like to jugde first too often on tumblr), it looks nothing like super hero buddies, it has a lot more detail compared to it.
-
@Omni-Triforcer @Rexfan1333 Notice that I said that the comparison was ironic. That means I'm referring to the context and not the look. Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures was a show banking off of Ben using his aliens to do heroic deeds. It's there to mock network executives for doing the very things that Cartoon Network is doing right now with shows such as Teen Titans Go!, the PPG reboot, the Ben 10 reboot, etc. There was an episode of the original PPG show that had the same or similar context as well. That is where the comparison comes in. Episodes from Cartoon Network shows mocking executives for doing the very things that, ironically, Cartoon Network is doing right now. Think some more before you guys respond on stuff like this so you don't end up looking ignorant.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Seriously, I know you don't like the reboot, but people are trying to be excited but your comment keep making everyone bummed the hell out. Not trying to sound rude here, but I really want to be excited, but you can't see let people be excited.
-
@Rexfan1333 Nope. My comments, my thoughts, my arguments, my opinions, my choice on what I want to say and it's everyone's choice on whether or not they want to read my comments and opinions. People want to be excited about the Ben 10 reboot, that's their choice. It's my choice that I want to make the argument that the Ben 10 reboot will not turn out to be good and to convince people of that very argument. It was your choice that you decided to read my comments and feel bummed out about the Ben 10 reboot. Once again, no, I'm not going to stop. You want me to stop, prove to me that I'm wrong and that the Ben 10 reboot will turn out to be good. Get into a debate with me over this. Otherwise, I'm not going to stop just because it makes you and anyone else "bummed out." I'm not going to stop just because you and anyone else want to be excited for the Ben 10 reboot.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Okay, but it's just gonna annoy people, but no matter what you say will not change the reboot in any way.
-
@Rexfan1333 Like I said, I'm no longer trying to make changes. I'm just making predictions and arguments on the Ben 10 reboot and convincing others of those predictions and arguments.

Holy crap, I just noticed something from the full version of the Annecy preview clip of the Ben 10 reboot. Steven T. Seagle states this, "We're starting clean, Ben is 10-years-old, he's on an eternal summer vacation with his grandpa Max and his cousin Gwen, he's found a watch, he turns into 10 aliens, and that's all we have to worry about this time around." Ok so first off I don't find this a good way of describing the reboot. Yes it's supposed to mean that they're starting all over because this is labeled as a reboot but it also gives this feeling that there's not going to be much of a focus on a good, strong complex, and well written story and characters. What really caught my attention though is that Seagle says "he's on an eternal summer vacation." Eternal as in lasting forever. I really hope that that's just poor word choice because if this turns out to be the case, then they're going to be taking a at least 3 month long summer road trip and make it last forever. That each episode is just going to be about Ben, Gwen, and Max going from place to place and doing stuff. That there's going to be little to no progression in regards to story and characters. That it is most likely that we won't be seeing the characters grow up and develop throughout the years and that Ben and Gwen are just going to stay as their 10-year-old selves. Again, I hope this is not the case and that this is just poor word choice because that is definitely not what I want to see in this series.
