In OS, The Great One destroyed Cannonbolt's home planet, even though Ben as Cannonbolt defeated him on Earth. My question is, why didn't Arburian Pelarotas fight back? There was a whole planet full of them, and one was enough to destroy the Great One. Are they really not intelligent enough to figure it out that you have to destroy it from the inside?
Now this is a good episode. Although I would've preferred that this would be done with OS's art style, I still like it. However, IMO, Yuri Lowenthal was not a good choice as a VA for Vilgax.

Also, what about Alien X? Bring him back? Limit Ben's ability to control Alien X, again?

He still looks like he's 5 years old... and I don't like the new art style. CN, you don't have to make everything look dumb! If they really want to go back to his younger days, at least do it just like OS. That's just my opinion tho. And yes, I'm one of the AF fans, I like OS as well but not OV and definitely not the Reboot's style. I apologise for my harsh words but these are my honest feelings.
I believe Adult Swim would be a great choice, considering how good their shows are (for example R&M and Samurai Jack S05). They wouldn't have to "dumb it down" either.

Do they operate outside of law or are they a subdivision of a government? It is mentioned in UA S02E07 that if they were to kill that policeman, they would go to jail, but is that because it wasn't needed for their operation, or is it that their entire organization is illegal?

I think Michael Bell would make a great Ghostfreak (check his voice acting as The Fear in MGS3 Snake Eater)
But if this is going to be a movie based on the current Ben 10, the reboot, they probably wouldn't even have a Ghostfreak in it. Still, I think it's something worth noting if the time ever comes...
Maybe they thought they're safe in "ball mode" or were unaware (or underestimated) of the Great One's abilities or its plan?
@Tactical-Ochoa No I don't think they evacuated, they're extinct, my guess is that they kept trying to save the planet (but not the right way) and got destroyed along with it. As shown in the episode, the process takes some time so they had enough time to fight. This might imply that they are (were) not the brightest species.
Also, the Great One's followers/helpers weren't concerned or scared when they saw Cannonbolt (Ben), if the Arburian Pelarotas would've done even at least some damage when the Great One was on their planet, the followers would've been concerned that Ben might figure out how to do it as well. They basically thought the species isn't capable of doing anything to prevent the "cleansing" from happening, a fact that they probably got from personal experience, if you catch my drift.
