@laggamer20xx It's just not a ride that I'm interested in, so there's not really anything that I can say that's good and bad.

@Scholmes One assumption I have is that Cartoon Network, for some reason, thinks that kids won't enjoy the series or relate to Ben if he's an adult, even though kids like superheroes like Superman, Captain America, Wonder Woman, etc. There's also pointing out that a Ben 10,000 series could also involve Ben's son, Ken, which could make keeping Ben a kid feel even more unnecessary. There's also pointing out that the Original Series continued to be the most popular and successful show in the franchise and Cartoon Network was trying to recapture that popularity and success, even to the point of making an unnecessary rehash of the original show.

@npzman Maybe. I don't think that Cartoon Network would want to ditch their most popular franchise forever but Ben 10 may have indeed gone on a longer hiatus had it not been for input from overseas, which is believable considering how CN treated Omniverse towards the end of its run. @cooljay7 this makes me wonder what the future of the series is from CNs point of view. They've tried to make the reboot to push their toy line which according to their recent lack of sales has not worked that well. Is it too much to hope that they will actually focus on making a good series over selling toys? I hope so.

@Mortie-10 said in Why Alien X soooo weak in Reboot?: @Tactical-Ochoa I love Alien X, he is one of my favorite aliens. But you are welcome to dislike him how much you want, Im just so tired that Kuro uses him as an excuse all the time. "But hey, Alien X" Ben should've never got full control of Alien X. Using Serena and Bellicus was the perfect way to limit just how overpowered he is, and I feel that "Universe vs Tennyson" was made more due to the sheer popularity of Alien X and the general desire by the fandom to see Ben use him to his fullest. The fact that they gave him full control of Alien X after that was stupid and makes every other alien in the Omnitrix useless. I'll admit, two things which bug me about Omniverse are the fully controlled Alien X and the failsafe which basically makes Ben unbeatable by turning him into the ideal alien for the situation if his life is at peril. That for me sucked out the stakes of the story since Ben can turn into a literal god anytime he wants and just snap the conflict away. It makes any serious situation involving Ben less meaningful because we know that 99 times out of 100. he's going to survive. I'm not opposed to Celestialsapiens existing but giving Ben full control of the transformation was a huge mistake. As was the Omnitrix failsafe. I know that "But hey, Alien X" is practically a meme at this point but for the record Kuro does actually do a really good job in 5YL of explaining why Ben does everything he can not to use Alien X. As Ben gets older he understands more and more about Azmuth's true motivation behind creating the Omnitrix for greater understanding among different species rather than as a weapon. Ben knows that every alien in the watch matters and that he as the wielder of it should embody that principle. Of course he has his favourite aliens, but using Alien X for him would make the world that he protects not feel genuine (it's almost like using the cheat codes of a videogame), and he doesn't believe that he as a flawed human has the right to use the powers of a god shape reality to his choosing.

My theory is that this version of Max wasn't a Plumber himself, but someone who was familiar with the organisation. For me he's way too goofy and irresponsible (well at least compared with original Max) to actually be a Plumber. Still though, even if he only knew about them surely he would've tried to contact them when larger threats like Vilgax started to emerge in the reboot universe. Or at the least he could've told Ben and Gwen about them. Again, this detail seems more for fanservice than actual plot consistency.

Is there any sign of Cartoon Network having a Renaissance of some sorts with regards to the types of shows which they start showing? Because it doesn't look that way at the moment with Teen Titans Go dominating the schedule, and it looks like the "comedy" format of shows is what generates the most money for CN and looks like that's what it will be like going forward, with the reboot sequel likely to follow suit. The reboot isn't the worst show on Cartoon Network and I don't wish to be a jerk and upset the people who enjoy it. I just believe that not only the long-time fans, but the kids too deserve better - heck, my little 9 year old brother think that the reboot "tries too hard to be funny and ends up being stupid" . Although his favourite series is Omniverse, he finds episodes of the original 2006 series way more enjoyable to watch than the reboot - and this is all without me suggesting to him at all that the reboot is not as good as the OS. Children aren't as stupid as CN seem to think and if they do make any kind of continuation I just hope that they treat their viewers with respect and allow the writers as much freedom as possible. I was having a discussion with someone on Reddit as to what would happen if they started showing Original Series reruns after the reboot ends, to which they said that the more detailed art style alone (and how it is different from most CN art styles nowadays) may catch the attention of kids and the story and charm of the original would do the rest. I've lurked around forums like this for a while so am familiar with @Tactical-Ochoa 's idea to make a new sequel to the original series exploring an alternate AF timeline and attempting to make the continuity more streamlined and improve on where the sequels slipped up (I believe that Alien Force, Ultimate Alien and Omniverse were all good shows in themselves but not good sequels). That could've really worked back in 2016 but I think that with the 2016 reboot wiping the slate clean it may confuse viewers as to which shows belong to which timelines. Reboots are fine since they give writers another shot at doing a show right. I'm sure that when Ben 10 started the creators didn't think of all their ideas from the beginning, and obviously with the retcons the original timeline became a bit messy. A Ben 10 reboot could've been the chance to fix those issues and create a smooth timeline by taking the best aspects from across the franchise and merging them into one. An example of a good reboot is one of my favourite comic series: "Ultimate Spider-Man" by Brian Michael Bendis (which I've mentioned here before - I am quite a big Spider-Man fan as well as a Ben 10 fan lol). Sure the comic re-interpreted a few characters and had a more grounded story, but in the end it kept true to the core themes of what makes Spider-Man such a good character which is why while not perfect, it was a great reimagining of the character. But unfortunately a lot of reboots these days seem to be more inclined to advertising toys and merch by using the name of the franchise to attract interest, and I hope that changes /wall of text over.

@cooljay7 Sounds like a fanboy of the show or a Cartoon Network shill or whatever. I'm guessing that D.C. Network removed the comments because, as you said, the commenter spammed them out.

I wonder when more new episodes of Ben 10 Reboot season 4 including "Sweet Tooth" and Speed Of Sound" will aired on Demand or on Cartoon Network app?

I really hope to see this element of the Ben 10 franchise in the reboot. It definitely won't give me the same feeling as the OS would, but throwing away the idea of Max having a past of a hero isn't an option for me.
