Isn't there a single UAF fan out there besides me?

  • I’m a UAF fan, last weekend I even bought the Season 2 Dvd of Ultimate Alien.

    @ben-10-fan Actually I have all the Ultimate Alien episodes on DVD, and the first two seasons of Alien Force. Season 3 is not avaible in Norway

  • KuroTheArtist explains the retcon pretty well, considering with how he put it based off Omniverse's bs, that the Vendetta episode wasn't a lie

    UAF has lots of fans, it's just not as popular as the OS. I don't think UAF is a bad show, far from it, it was good. But I do think UAF is a bad sequel to the OS, and that's why it suffers some backlash from fans. Dwayne Macduffie's versions of Ben, Gwen, Kevin, Charmcaster and Vilgax are completely different characters from Man of Action's original Ben, Gwen, Kevin, Charmcaster and Vilgax. And UAF did introduce many retcons and plotholes and continuity errors. Personally, if they had said UAF was a completely separated universe from the OS, it would have done away with all the problems that people have with UAF (myself included).

    @ebomnitrix The problem remains though: If Max was indeed Devin Levin's partner and best friend, and on Devin's final moments promised to look out for Devin's wife and son, so why in the OS Max didn't know Kevin, and didn't do anything to help him? It makes a lot more of sense to say that these memories were implanted by Servantis later, after the events of the Original Series happened, to make Max more sympathetic towards Kevin. Of course, it creates more plotholes but at least it saves Max's character from being butchered. Again, another issue that only comes up because UAF is supposed to be a sequel to OS.

  • I enjoyed Alien Force but I still think Ultimate Alien was a bland and cheap show with some good episodes.

    @fangdanerd the ultimatrix was a gimmick, and was only used on 8 aliens.

    @andrew42 12 if you count those in Omniverse

  • Dude I loved UAF and hate the reboot and omniverse. You are not alone, don't let anyone make you think you are.

    The Mcduffie era of Ben 10 was awesome, and honestly when I think of these characters thats what i see in my head.

    @oldtaku_dd Thank goodness

  • @Mortie-10 to be honest I liked UAF the most and omiverse. Those three were my strongest in the series and made me the Ben 10 fan. I am today. To be honest I didn't think OS was great but okay and as for the reboot you know that already

    @mortie-10 He apologized for his actions. As long as he doesn't do all that stuff that he did before, remains respectful to others, and follows the rules here, everything should go well here.

    Dude a lot of people shitted on Omniverse and the Reboot, just don't listen to them, we can like what we like, we don't have to follow the exact same trend as everyone. Just because people gave up with Ben 10 after Ultimate Alien because of changes they couldn't stand, doesn't mean we have to. But good for you, with the Reboot!

    @Rexfan1333 CGI can have it's strengths but I can also agree that it's grown to be quite generic as well. Personally, I prefer cartoon and anime art styles and animations over CGI. There are times though where CGI does get very much deservingly impressive. It just ends up getting used up too much in animated shows.

    @Omni-Triforcer Just going to copy and paste this comment that I made here from the Ben 10 Forums site. Agree. It's BS yet that seems to be the mindset that networks such as Cartoon Network seem to follow now. Comedy and modern trends and memes over actual story, quality, and creativity. Making comedy shows is fine to do but at the same time kids should also experience strong and compelling stories and some very creative ideas and all that stuff. Kids should experience and witness what it truly takes to make great shows. To see various examples of how great stories, characters, settings, ideas, styles, etc can be executed and implemented into entertainment media. These are kids that we're talking about here. Young individuals with young and developing minds. Kids that are constantly learning more about pretty much everything they see in their lives. This is one of the major reasons as to why I get so ticked off about the excuse by writers and network companies of " oh, we're making shows for kids so we don't need to put a lot of effort into our shows because kids don't know any better." Again, comedy shows are fine to make but that shouldn't be the only thing that kids should be exposed to on networks such as Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. At least in my opinion, kids shouldn't be exposed to shows such as Teen Titans Go!, Uncle Grandpa, and the PPG reboot. They should see and experience shows such as Courage the Cowardly Dog, the original Ben 10, Ed Edd n Eddy, Samurai Jack, Gravity Falls, Avatar The Last Airbender, etc and networks should put a lot more of a focus on making shows that is on the very level of quality or higher as the very shows that I listed. This is our future generation here. Networks should also help our future generation develop and grow throughout their early years so that they can become better individuals later on in their lives instead of just exploiting them just to garner some more cash off of them and their parents.

    @Ben-10-Fan said: So there where Ben 10 questions in Stevens Q&A and everything new we know we know is that the Voice Cast is already revealed but for now it's only for CN and MOA and Steven T. seagle has said some thinks about the Ben 10 live action movie in 2017 he said: There is a live action B10 in PRE-production with Joel Silver, but it is nowhere near any kind of point of being in a theater - let alone next year! Movies are big difficult beasts to get rolling. So keep your fingers crossed and your eyes on the MOA social media and we'll let you know if anything gets locked down. @Ben-10-Fan said: So there where Ben 10 questions in Stevens Q&A and everything new we know is that the Voice Cast is already revealed but for now it's only for CN and MOA and Steven T. seagle has said some thinks about the Ben 10 live action movie in 2017 he said: There is a live action B10 in PRE-production with Joel Silver, but it is nowhere near any kind of point of being in a theater - let alone next year!
