Artwork and a New Alien
-
@aron27 Wow. Ok then. How about I just refer to every alien in the series. First off, all the Original Series aliens are keepers in my book. This includes Buzzshock, Cannonbolt, Ghostfreak, Frankenstrike (aka Benvicktor), Blitzwolfer (although I'd rater prefer Benwolf), and Eyeguy. They were very well designed and each were greatly useful and capable. They were also greatly structured, designed, and well balanced. Very powerful aliens but not too powerful and because of that, the villains were able to challenge Ben. Even Dr. Animo was able to challenge Ben in the Original Series. The Original Series aliens also looked very much like actual aliens, hence why I have a problem with chronosapien234 stating that certain aliens like Stinkfly and Wildvine were redesigned in the reboot to look more human because they're supposed to look like aliens; not more human or have a more humanoid appearance. Either way, the Original Series aliens, or at least most of them, are a definite yes in my book.
As for the new aliens in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, they're a maybe but the most major reason why I give most of them a "no" for the reboot is because most of these aliens are very or too powerful to the point where the villains either can't truly challenge Ben or can't challenge Ben enough. Therefore, aliens that had debuted in AF and UA such as Swampfire, Big Chill, Rath (who is freakin awesome and funny and one of my most favorites), and Chromastone are a maybe but for me, it's most likely a "no" in my book. Alien X is a most definite no. He is way way way too powerful and can end any conflict with just a blink from his eyes. Yes, Ben has to get pass Serena and Bellicus but once he does so, he is literally unstoppable against all of Ben's enemies. Even Vilgax. Alien X is a most definite no.
As for the new aliens in Omniverse, just no for almost all of them. Especially Gutrot and Kickin Hawk. My biggest problem with the Omniverse aliens is that they are just too cartoonish in their designs and functions and are just so stupid to use. I mean like really, a freakin chicken for an alien. Legos for an alien. A fairy for an alien. It's just so stupid to use and are too cartoonish. There are a few exceptions though. Gravattack is a maybe but unlikely. Atomix is very useful but as I stated before, he's way too powerful at the moment. He was one of the aliens that were mentioned in the Original Series though and I bet that if Ben were to get Atomix, Man of Action would have probably still been very powerful but if Man of Action were to design him, Atomix would have at least been more balanced. For now, Atomix is still, again, a no. I do like Feedback a lot though. He is one of my favorites in Omniverse. There is the issue that he is very powerful which could make things problematic in the reboot because, again, the villains need to be able to truly challenge Ben but Feedback is really cool and maybe a yes from me for the reboot.
I did look up Speedball and Mantisaur in the Ben 10 Fan Fiction Wiki and I guess they would be fine but I'm not entirely sure. As long as they are useful, capable, and powerful but not too powerful, then I guess I could say yes on putting them in the Ben 10 Reboot. Their abilities are interesting, unique, and pretty cool though. Again, as long as they are not too powerful and that the villains can challenge Ben enough while he uses these aliens, then they should be fine for the reboot. Here are the links to these aliens in the Ben 10 Fan Fiction Wiki.

I received a notice from chronosapien234 that he is thinking of not posting the Ben 10 Reboot artwork after all. I still recommend that people do not full accept this information about the artwork as true until some confirmation comes in. To accept the info as possibly true yet understand and accept that there is a possible chance that my source could be lying as well. I'll provide an update when something happens.
-
So, unfortunately, I'm going to have to put this update out. I've lost my patience with chronosapien234 on the Ben 10 Reboot artwork and I'm just going to come to the conclusion that he was lying about the information that he shared. I tried asking him constantly a while back to see if he can provide any proof to the information that he gave by sharing some images of the artwork on here but I just kept getting unjustifiable excuses and illogical responses or wouldn't even respond back at all. The same happened with admin as well. At the time of this post, chronosapien234 asked if he could participate in the upcoming Ben 10 10th Anniversary podcast and even offered to show the artwork on the podcast. When admin asked him questions as to how he would like to participate and what info he can provide, admin got the same responses that I got. I gave him a chance to share his info in exchange for some actual proof that credits him and his info and I got no proof at all from him. Therefore, I've decided to call it and, again, come to the conclusion that chronosapien234 was lying about having the reboot artwork and that the information that he provided was false.
I did put out the warning multiple times that there could be a chance that this info could either be true or false and that people who read this page should be cautious about it until I get a legitimate confirmation on the credibility of the info. Unfortunately, I didn't get that confirmation and thus will have to come to this conclusion. Sorry everyone.

So this didn't come from chronosapien234 but instead is an image posted from a user on Instagram that was linked on the Ben 10 Wiki. This is a 2016 Cartoon Network calendar cover that shows the reboot Ben alongside the reboot Diamondhead. At least we finally got something, even though in my opinion it doesn't look good.
https://www.instagram.com/p/_66z-PJZjX/
As for my thoughts on this, here's what I put on my "Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot" topic page.
*Yeah, I just saw it myself. Diamondhead doesn't look that bad but he doesn't look good either. I agree with ZeVikingSif on the Ben 10 Wiki. The gold really does look stupid and doesn't even make sense. The Omnitrix is supposed to shape Ben's clothes to fit and suit his aliens so where did the gold even come from. It should be green instead. As I stated before, Cartoon Network doesn't even understand what made this series truly great. They can't even get the little things right such as how the Omnitrix is really supposed to function. Diamondhead seems to have more of an appearance to Omniverse in my opinion. Again, doesn't look bad but it's not good either.
As for Ben, if anyone here thought his reboot design looked bad enough, he looks even worse here. Yeah, this reboot really is becoming more like Teen Titans Go. If I even have any faith left in this reboot, I lost even more of it.*
As for chronosapien234, once again, I've come to the conclusion that he is lying about the info on Overflow and the reboot artwork.
If anyone has any thoughts on this, feel free to comment on this page.

The Omnitrix takes up half of Ben's freakin arm. Ben still looks like he's five-years-old and his design still looks like crap. Christ, he legitimately looks like he's five-years-old now. If he didn't before to some people, he really does look like he's five now. Either the Omnitrix was scaled up in size or they scaled Ben's design down and I have the feeling that it's the latter. Imagine trying to lug that freakin watch around when it takes up half your arm; especially when you look that small.
-
He kinda looks off-model, but I still like his design. I have the feeling that he'll be taller than he seems now, despite his anatomy.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Stop complaining about the reboot. I know everything doesnt look great, but try at least to see it on the bright side, or this show will have the same destiny as Omniverse.
-
@Mortie-10 I look at things from the most realistic and reasonable perspective there is. If you don't like that, too bad. I can choose to express whatever's on my mind. Even if this next Ben 10 show ends up being good, I doubt that it won't be successful enough in merchandise sales for Cartoon Network to want to keep it on the network because you know Cartoon Network is pretty much obsessed with selling toys and merchandise to the point that they'll even shut down a show if it doesn't sell enough toys, which has happened many times before. Ultimate Alien's toy sales even did so bad that barely anyone wanted to buy and sell Omniverse toys and look at how Cartoon Network ended up treating Omniverse as a result of that. With that in mind, what makes Cartoon Network think that the toy line for this next Ben 10 show will sell well enough. People are sick and tired of Cartoon Network's blatant push for selling merchandise over making actual quality shows and people are getting sick and tired of Ben 10. More viewers want shows such as Courage the Cowardly Dog, Kids Next Door, Young Justice, Samurai Jack, etc to make a return than to have another Ben 10 show. Barely anyone asked for another Ben 10 show. Barely anyone is interested in another Ben 10 show and barely anyone has any interest in this next Ben 10 show right now. Barely anyone wanted for the series to go the very route that it's currently going. I'm looking at every single angle there is for this very show. I'm looking at what we know of right now and I'm looking back at Cartoon Network's history to predict the most likely outcome. Like I said, if you don't like the very views that I have, too bad. That is how I think and that is how I set up my views, opinions, predictions, and perspectives. Chances are this next Ben 10 show is going to end up having the same destiny as Omniverse but with a shorter lifespan. After all, there is that saying "if you don't learn from your past, you are doomed to repeat it" and Cartoon Network has certainly not learned from their past.

Yeah i have a feeling he will look fine in the actual show. Everyone needs to chill out and wait till we see it animated.

Yes a new art leaked FINALLY!!! Thanks @Omni-Triforcer but look at his Omnitrix it is freaking big if you look at his arm and he looks like 6 or someting but lets we look on the bright side
-
@Tactical-Ochoa I want Courage, KND, Samurai Jack and other shows to come back too, but Ben 10 is Cartoon Network biggest show. Of course they need a new show. Maybe it not will turn out good, but Omniverse didnt neither, and we survived that too. Hate to bring it to you Tacitcal-Ochoa, but you are looking at things TOO realistic. Be more positive. At least I was maybe the only one who was positive before Omniverse first aired, and if I didnt like it, I kept watching it just because Im a hardcore Ben 10 fan who trying to find the best in his favorite show, no matter how bad it is. Thats how I survived Omniverse. And it at least turned out good in the last 30 episodes.
Also I have read on some other blogs that you would like to have a new sequel show similiar to what Man of Action originally intended. I like that idea and think its cool. But dont expect it to happen. I am hoping for a UAF continuation, but I know we will never get that neither. By the way, how its going on that Ben 10 Omni-hero game? It sound very interesting. Hope I can play it when its finished.
-
@Mortie-10 Samurai Jack is already coming back for a 5th season in 2016.
-
@Omni-Triforcer The design isn't horrible, but I feel Ben's getting more cartoony every passing moment, but that's just my opinion.
-
@Mortie-10 Cartoon Network doesn't need a new Ben 10 show; especially as I stated before there is more of a demand for all the other shows that I mentioned. Also no, I'm not looking at things too realistically. Just realistic enough. In fact, the method that I stated that I'm using isn't 100% guaranteed to work every time but it is one of the best methods out there to set up opinions, predictions, and impressions about a certain piece of entertainment. This is a method that most people use; most especially critics/reviewers and commentators. Also, Ben 10 is one of my most favorite cartoon/animated series out there but I'm not a hardcore fan. I have a different perspective on things than what fans such as you and @Omni-Triforcer and some others have. That is how I am. That is how I think.
Also, here's the thing that pretty much goes for everyone here. Telling me to "be "more positive," telling me to "stop complaining," telling me to "stop judging," etc is getting you nowhere here. I have heard those phrases and statements so much that I'm starting to think that it's just people's attempts to disregard and discredit my opinions and I'm getting sick and tired of it. Instead of giving me one of those claims like that, give me a goddamn reason. Make a persuasive argument. Counter my points. I have my stance on the next Ben 10 show. Give me a suitable, justifiable, and valid argument that can change my stance. Otherwise, if anyone gives me any more of those statements, for now on, I'm just either going to ignore them or I'm just going to respond back and say "no." Don't take this the wrong way either. I just got home and I'm really tired right now so I just want to mention that and just get it out of the way so this paragraph might not be in the best state that I want it to be in. Just want to mention that.
Thank you for reminding me about my video game idea. I forgot that I need to make an update about that. I'll post that update when I have time. Maybe tomorrow when I come home from work. No, I haven't started development on the game yet because at the moment it's just an idea. I'm not even working as a Game Designer yet but I am working on taking steps to apply at PlatinumGames so I can hopefully get this game idea green-lit for production and development. Also, even if my Ben 10 game idea was being worked on, it would need a lot more time than this before it gets finished. Like at least two to three years. Even with a big professional team, it'll take a lot of time to make it and again that is if it even gets green-lit at all. I'll explain more when I post the update soon. I can't do that right now because I just got home from work and my Japanese language class and I'm tired and I just want to get a few things done and then get some rest but yeah, I will make and post the update soon when I have some time.

Honestly, after seeing all of the reboots that have come out so far (PowerPuff Girls and Teen Titans Go) and seeing the cartoony art style, I don't think that this is going to be a good show. If it is bad I will watch the first five episodes to see if it gets any better and if not I may just stop watching the show.
-
I want you all to remember this.
The creators of the original Teen Titans and Powerpuff Girls were not involved with the Reboots.
The ones for Ben 10 are, so things can be entirely different, and from what I'm seeing, Cartoon Network might be going for a Saturday lineup with JLA and Ben 10, as their being promoted slowly together, that might be their goal for Fall 2016/Spring 2017. So it might be 11 minute shorts of action shows, like what we were expecting from "New Teen Titans", for now we just gotta have hope and not give up on it yet. There's still time, and we have not seen a trailer for either of them, nor have we seen enough content to say anything about them except for the fact that people don't like how it looks so far (aside me, cause I love it.)
Just don't lose hope yet til we get there, that's all I can tell you from here. I know some of you are all over the original series or Alien Force, but Ben 10 won't ever be like that again, and if you can't respect that, then don't even bother with it in general anymore, cause Ben 10 will always be changing and it will always keep going down different paths so it can respect its value for the audience its going for.But with this show, it might change to where its not like Powerpuff or TTG, it might prove to still be like Ben 10 itself, just give it time and be patient. cause we don't know what's going to happen.
For now, let's just pray outside the art style which might be better than what we think it is, that the show can top Omniverse and Ultimate Alien.
(And don't worry, I am respecting all your opinions, but just try to keep it in control til we get more information, okay?) -
@Ebomnitrix You're right! People need to calm down. And I hope to see more pictures of the reboot this month.
-
I am actually excited for justice league action to since it has the original voice actors for batman and joker. So if these 2 shows are like a saturday day morning action duo i would be totally fine with that.
-
@Ebomnitrix I know that there still is the possibility of it being a good show. We can't truly judge it until we see a trailer and when it airs.
Sometimes you can tell by the art style that the show will be bad. For example, Be Cool Scooby Doo.
I wish that Cartoon Network would make a Ben 10,000 show and air it on Toonami. That would be amazing!!
