Artwork and a New Alien
-
@admin Well, I did say that it's a possibility. What about DeviantArt? Does Cartoon Network have a sharing license with them? Plus, you never know. The creator of the fan-made Overflow could fight for his/her rights. Again, it's all a possibility. We'll never actually know until we see it happen or not. At least that's how I see it.
-
@admin There's also the responses from other Ben 10 fans and viewers as well. How they will respond when they find out the points that I make with the flaws of Overflow. Lawsuit or not, there is also the possibility that this could cause some more bad reputation towards Cartoon Network and the Ben 10 Reboot. After all, the Ben 10 Reboot and Cartoon Network already got some bed rep as it is. There's always going to be the possibility that the worse case scenario can happen and that is something that I want to try and prevent through my efforts to convince Cartoon Network not to make the reboot of the Original Series.

It depends on where Overflow was published first. I would be really curious if the creator fights for the rights.

By the way, this is not the first time CN would use fan-art. Bloxx, for an example, was an idea of a fan. They just changed the name and the design a little bit. But the abilities remained almost the same.

Here's a proof. I've known this list since 2008-2009.

@admin That is true. I'm more worried than curious because to me this is making the reboot look even more worse if problems like this keep popping up.
As for fan ideas, well, as long as the fans give CN permission to use those ideas, then I don't mind at all. I mean like heck, I would be more than willing to give CN and MOA my ideas for Ben 10 and permission to use them. Heck, I would love to make my video game idea actually happen. Overall, as long as fans are willing to give permission for CN to use their ideas, then I'm completely fine. I would even encourage it. Give fans a chance to be involved in the production of their favorite series. Who knows, there could be the possibility that the creator of Overflow gave CN permission to use Overflow in the reboot. Right now, pretty much anything is a possibility because we don't know much about what's going on with the reboot.
I saw that image that you posted before too. Fans can have some really great ideas with them. Again, I would even encourage fans to offer up ideas if they want to just as long as they give permission for CN to use those ideas. Don't really like Bloxx though. I mean like an alien made out of legos. That just so stupid, in my opinion. I mean like heck, the aliens that this person thought up would be better to use than at least most of the aliens that we got in Omniverse. This is a really good list too.

@Tactical-Ochoa You should Ben10 have Sandbox, Spitter, Snakepitt, Shellhead, and Portaler. And Toepic
-
@aron27 Well, we already got Toepick and Spitter and I don't think they're going to be in the Ben 10 Reboot. I looked up Portaler and he seems interesting so he's a maybe for me. Sandbox, Snakepit, and Shellhead, yeah that's a big no. They're seen as terrible aliens to Ken Tennyson (Ben's future son). Shellhead only ability is that he hides inside his shell when he feels threatened so that's why he's an obvious no.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa How bout Articguna, Atomix, Fast track , Eatle, Whampire, Astrodactyl
-
@aron27 Arctiguana is a maybe but I agree on that alien. He's a really good alien with quite useful abilities so yeah, he's a maybe but I do agree with him being in the reboot. Plus, he is one of the original aliens seen in the Original Series.
I'd say no on Atomix because he's way too powerful;especially this early in the story and for Ben considering the plot of the reboot. No seriously, Atomix would rip Ben's enemies to shreds. In fact, Atomix is one of the many examples of Ben's aliens from the sequels being very or too powerful to the point that most of Ben's enemies, old and new, can't truly challenge him. Therefore, I'd say no on Atomix.
Fasttrack and Eatle are a definite no. They're just copies of XLR8 and Upchuck, except XLR8 and Upchuck are actually better and more capable aliens. Therefore, a most definite no on Fasttrack and Eatle. Plus, Fasttrack doesn't even look like an alien. He looks like a superhero, which is another problem that I had with Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. The new Dwayne McDuffie and Glen Murikami treated those two sequels as if they're typical superhero shows when really, to me, Ben 10 is more of a Sci-Fi/Action show about Ben learning and developing himself into becoming a true and better hero. Not a superhero. A hero. There really is a difference there.
I do not like Whampire and Astrodactyl and they are also a definite no in my book. In my opinion, those two aliens are just really bad aliens. They look stupid and they're just too ridiculous and cartoonish for Ben 10. Plus, I addressed the issue with Astrodactyl's jetpack and the Omnitrix's true functions in my earlier post talking about the new alien, Overflow. Whampire and Astrodactyl and also a definite no for the Ben 10 Reboot.

@Tactical-Ochoa how bout gutrot , feedback, kickin hawk, buzzshock , swampfire ,big chil , Rath , Cannon bolt, Ghostfreak , Frankenstrike , Blizwolfer, Eye guy, Chromestone and Ailen X
-
-
@aron27 Wow. Ok then. How about I just refer to every alien in the series. First off, all the Original Series aliens are keepers in my book. This includes Buzzshock, Cannonbolt, Ghostfreak, Frankenstrike (aka Benvicktor), Blitzwolfer (although I'd rater prefer Benwolf), and Eyeguy. They were very well designed and each were greatly useful and capable. They were also greatly structured, designed, and well balanced. Very powerful aliens but not too powerful and because of that, the villains were able to challenge Ben. Even Dr. Animo was able to challenge Ben in the Original Series. The Original Series aliens also looked very much like actual aliens, hence why I have a problem with chronosapien234 stating that certain aliens like Stinkfly and Wildvine were redesigned in the reboot to look more human because they're supposed to look like aliens; not more human or have a more humanoid appearance. Either way, the Original Series aliens, or at least most of them, are a definite yes in my book.
As for the new aliens in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, they're a maybe but the most major reason why I give most of them a "no" for the reboot is because most of these aliens are very or too powerful to the point where the villains either can't truly challenge Ben or can't challenge Ben enough. Therefore, aliens that had debuted in AF and UA such as Swampfire, Big Chill, Rath (who is freakin awesome and funny and one of my most favorites), and Chromastone are a maybe but for me, it's most likely a "no" in my book. Alien X is a most definite no. He is way way way too powerful and can end any conflict with just a blink from his eyes. Yes, Ben has to get pass Serena and Bellicus but once he does so, he is literally unstoppable against all of Ben's enemies. Even Vilgax. Alien X is a most definite no.
As for the new aliens in Omniverse, just no for almost all of them. Especially Gutrot and Kickin Hawk. My biggest problem with the Omniverse aliens is that they are just too cartoonish in their designs and functions and are just so stupid to use. I mean like really, a freakin chicken for an alien. Legos for an alien. A fairy for an alien. It's just so stupid to use and are too cartoonish. There are a few exceptions though. Gravattack is a maybe but unlikely. Atomix is very useful but as I stated before, he's way too powerful at the moment. He was one of the aliens that were mentioned in the Original Series though and I bet that if Ben were to get Atomix, Man of Action would have probably still been very powerful but if Man of Action were to design him, Atomix would have at least been more balanced. For now, Atomix is still, again, a no. I do like Feedback a lot though. He is one of my favorites in Omniverse. There is the issue that he is very powerful which could make things problematic in the reboot because, again, the villains need to be able to truly challenge Ben but Feedback is really cool and maybe a yes from me for the reboot.
I did look up Speedball and Mantisaur in the Ben 10 Fan Fiction Wiki and I guess they would be fine but I'm not entirely sure. As long as they are useful, capable, and powerful but not too powerful, then I guess I could say yes on putting them in the Ben 10 Reboot. Their abilities are interesting, unique, and pretty cool though. Again, as long as they are not too powerful and that the villains can challenge Ben enough while he uses these aliens, then they should be fine for the reboot. Here are the links to these aliens in the Ben 10 Fan Fiction Wiki.

I received a notice from chronosapien234 that he is thinking of not posting the Ben 10 Reboot artwork after all. I still recommend that people do not full accept this information about the artwork as true until some confirmation comes in. To accept the info as possibly true yet understand and accept that there is a possible chance that my source could be lying as well. I'll provide an update when something happens.
-
So, unfortunately, I'm going to have to put this update out. I've lost my patience with chronosapien234 on the Ben 10 Reboot artwork and I'm just going to come to the conclusion that he was lying about the information that he shared. I tried asking him constantly a while back to see if he can provide any proof to the information that he gave by sharing some images of the artwork on here but I just kept getting unjustifiable excuses and illogical responses or wouldn't even respond back at all. The same happened with admin as well. At the time of this post, chronosapien234 asked if he could participate in the upcoming Ben 10 10th Anniversary podcast and even offered to show the artwork on the podcast. When admin asked him questions as to how he would like to participate and what info he can provide, admin got the same responses that I got. I gave him a chance to share his info in exchange for some actual proof that credits him and his info and I got no proof at all from him. Therefore, I've decided to call it and, again, come to the conclusion that chronosapien234 was lying about having the reboot artwork and that the information that he provided was false.
I did put out the warning multiple times that there could be a chance that this info could either be true or false and that people who read this page should be cautious about it until I get a legitimate confirmation on the credibility of the info. Unfortunately, I didn't get that confirmation and thus will have to come to this conclusion. Sorry everyone.

So this didn't come from chronosapien234 but instead is an image posted from a user on Instagram that was linked on the Ben 10 Wiki. This is a 2016 Cartoon Network calendar cover that shows the reboot Ben alongside the reboot Diamondhead. At least we finally got something, even though in my opinion it doesn't look good.
https://www.instagram.com/p/_66z-PJZjX/
As for my thoughts on this, here's what I put on my "Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot" topic page.
*Yeah, I just saw it myself. Diamondhead doesn't look that bad but he doesn't look good either. I agree with ZeVikingSif on the Ben 10 Wiki. The gold really does look stupid and doesn't even make sense. The Omnitrix is supposed to shape Ben's clothes to fit and suit his aliens so where did the gold even come from. It should be green instead. As I stated before, Cartoon Network doesn't even understand what made this series truly great. They can't even get the little things right such as how the Omnitrix is really supposed to function. Diamondhead seems to have more of an appearance to Omniverse in my opinion. Again, doesn't look bad but it's not good either.
As for Ben, if anyone here thought his reboot design looked bad enough, he looks even worse here. Yeah, this reboot really is becoming more like Teen Titans Go. If I even have any faith left in this reboot, I lost even more of it.*
As for chronosapien234, once again, I've come to the conclusion that he is lying about the info on Overflow and the reboot artwork.
If anyone has any thoughts on this, feel free to comment on this page.

The Omnitrix takes up half of Ben's freakin arm. Ben still looks like he's five-years-old and his design still looks like crap. Christ, he legitimately looks like he's five-years-old now. If he didn't before to some people, he really does look like he's five now. Either the Omnitrix was scaled up in size or they scaled Ben's design down and I have the feeling that it's the latter. Imagine trying to lug that freakin watch around when it takes up half your arm; especially when you look that small.
-
He kinda looks off-model, but I still like his design. I have the feeling that he'll be taller than he seems now, despite his anatomy.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Stop complaining about the reboot. I know everything doesnt look great, but try at least to see it on the bright side, or this show will have the same destiny as Omniverse.
