  • What are your biggist hopes for the new series? Biggist fears? Which characters do you hope return? Which Aliens? Which Villains? Let us know!

  • My biggest hope for it is it won't be a comedy centric show (it's okay to have comedy, but at least not let it take over the whole show), as for characters, love to see Charmcaster and Hex. Alien would be Ditto

I pretty sure everyones hoping that its not comedy centric.
The most comedy i could handle is as much as ov had.
I want to see some new villians and some old villians such as sublimino and dr. animo. Later in the series i would like to see some new aliens as well.. such as maybe a shapeshifting alien (oooo maybe we could see a sludge puppy alien) and maybe a sort of earthbending type alien and some more aliens from the other 4 series.

  • Biggist fear: That they make the Reboot as Teen Titans Go or that they make the same disign as Omniverse. Characters i hope return: Kevin Elevin, Ben 10K and Ken. Aliens i hope return: Way Big,Upchuck,Wildmut,Ditto and FrankenStrike. Villains i hope return: Vilgax,Dr.Animo and Six Six. thats all for now.

@Omni-Triforcer yeah, last thing people really need is another TTG, I still wonder why that show still airs. OV had it's moments, but the jokes where too childish (not as idiotic as TTG, but still not good) and the art style didn't work for it. (I hated Ben's design, why do they always make him scrawny and short, the dude has been fighting aliens is whole life and should have a little muscle)

Well he does spend most of his time in alien form so i dont think the exercise from that transfers to his human form but the amount of times the omnitrix doesnt work should amount so some muscle lol
and yeah if we get another teen titans go im giving up on cn

@Omni-Triforcer yeah, but he does fight in human form. They could of at least make him look cooler, but NO, they just made him lamer and they even made him act like kid Ben too much. (I liked his design in UAF because he showed some muscle, he was mature, and he was quite tall, what the heck happened?)

I do hope we might have better character development between Ben and Gwen (that's really important to me because I have cousins that used to get on my nerves, but I love them more than anything)

@Omni-Triforcer Yeah, love to to see some of that in this reboot have some emotional moments between them. (I think that might be asking too much though)

@Ben-10-Fan Well, obviously, I very much hope that this reboot does turn out to be good but my expectations are saying otherwise. Yeah, I'm more of expecting this show to be just another comedy show made by CN. Even with MOA's involvement in the reboot. I don't want for that to happen but hoping for the best can only get you so far. I'd just rather rely more on my expectations than hopes and wishes in order to avoid experiencing major disappointment in the reboot.

  • Now that I've been thinking a little bit here. Wasn't one of MOA's previous animated series (can't remember which one) comedic? Also, I heard somewhere that everyone working on the show also worked in Mixels, Generator Rex and/or had extremely small and unimportant roles in the original series. And I kinda want to see Ben's mom (looking like a cartoon version of Beth Littleford like in UAF and Omniverse), Ben's dad (looking like a younger and thinner Max like in the original series), Ben 10,000 and Ken (keeping his tanned skin, even though Ben and Kai probably won't get together in this timeline) to appear in some episodes.

@GoodVibes1999 Was it Ultimate Spider-Man? That's the most comedic show that Man of Action was involved with at the moment so far. If so, that show wasn't well received that much. I heard a lot of people really dislike/hated that show so not a good example to use. Is it fine if Ben 10 had some comedic elements like in the Original Series? Yes, it's fine. That's what me and many others want out of the reboot. To be an action/adventure show with comedic elements. Not a comedy show.

  • @Tactical-Ochoa Yep, that show. I'll stop being a dreamer for one second and be honest and realistic: The comedy in the reboot probably will be at the same level as Generator Rex but multiplied by ten. Is it a bad thing? Well, maybe not. GR has pretty great action scenes and I think the same thing will happen to the reboot! CN and MOA probably know they're dealing with a tough crowd and must be trying to not make the comedy too childish or too gross.

@Tactical-Ochoa I hope it's well written comedy that kids, teens, and adults would like. (not the childish kind like OV) I hope CN learned their lesson from OV.

@GoodVibes1999 This is CN that we're talking about here. Look at their track record in recent years. They've been trying to build up a comedy trend with their recent shows. They focus more on the money, paying very little to no respect, passion, care, and effort to their shows. Even paying very little attention to what their viewers really truly want out of this reboot or really any show on their channel. I bet you anything that CN isn't even trying with this reboot. As long as the Ben 10 reboot makes them money, CN will have that show made however they like. What I'm expecting, and hoping doesn't happen, is that this reboot will be more like Teen Titans Go! with maybe at least more action elements than TTG. What you're explaining here is not realistic because CN is CN and all they care about at the moment is the money. I believe and expect this reboot to be the Teen Titans Go! of Ben 10. I hope that's not the case but, again, I'd rather stick with my expectations than my hopes and wishes, regardless as to whether or not I like the expectations that I have.

  • @Tactical-Ochoa I hope it's well written comedy that kids, teens, and adults would like. (not the childish kind like OV) I hope CN learned their lesson from OV.

@Rexfan1333 I doubt CN learned their lesson from Omniverse. I'd say that if CN is to really learn their lesson and turn things around for the better, then they need to receive a lot of hurt and pain with that lesson. They need to experience a major and significant failure on their network and/or their status as a company in order to really think things through and decide to actually put in some actual passion, respect, care, and effort into making their shows and listening to their viewers.

  • @Tactical-Ochoa Well, I think Steven Universe is a good comedy series. Some people may hate it but I think it has a pretty cool story and some drama to match the comedy. One lousy reboot made by people who never watched the original series can't be compared to a reboot made by people who worked at the original series. And about CN supposedly controlling them: No creator of animated series (no matter the channel) is in charge of their own creation by themselves.

@GoodVibes1999 Steven Universe is fine. A lot of people do like it. Teen Titans Go! and the Ben 10 reboot are comparable when it comes to CN themselves and the way they treated these series. So yes, those two shows are comparable.

@Ben-10-Fan I agree with so many of the others, I'm worried they will go the TTG route.
I'd like to see Charmcaster and Dr.Animo back and I'd like to see Kevin as a villain again...and I don't mean Gwen's "bad boy" crush. I mean as Ben's nemesis.
I know it will never happen but I'd like to see them go back to the original idea with Ben and Gwen being unrelated. or at least let us have a brief look at that universe.

@Ebomnitrix You make some good points. Yeah, Ben 10 is more successful internationally (although, of course that would be the case since that you're comparing the United States to...well...the rest of the world so I don't find that to be a fair comparison) but that doesn't mean that we should get a show that is of mediocre, or at the very least lower, quality. Yes, they should try to take a different approach considering that it's a reboot but they also need to make sure that this show is an improvement over the previous shows as well. To me, there is no excuse for a show to be of lower quality and that includes the one that you gave. Even then, come on. We all know that Cartoon Network really had this show made just to sell more merchandise. This is Cartoon Network here being the Cartoon Network of today that so many are getting so sick and tired of. It wasn't made for the new generation of kids. It wasn't made for international viewers. That's really just bullshit. This show was really made to sell more merchandise. I also try not to look at things from a nostalgic perspective when discussing such topics like this as well. I make sure to look at things from a more...I guess "objective" is the right word...perspective. Or maybe "analytical" is a better word to use. Either way, I try not to look at things to nostalgically because I don't want to be biased. Even when compared to other recent Cartoon Network shows like Clarence, Steven Universe, Uncle Grandpa, the Powerpuff Girls reboot, We Bare Bears, etc, the Ben 10 reboot doesn't have a lot of substance to it because it's just so similar to those other shows. Even when I don't compare it to the original Ben 10 show or even the sequel shows, I don't find the Ben 10 reboot to be a good show; especially when it comes to the writing and direction. If the Ben 10 reboot really was a good show, I would be more than happy to praise it. However, the Ben 10 reboot is not a good show. At best, it's average but this is a mediocre show that, like I said, was made just to sell more merchandise.

@Omni-Triforcer That's fine. I'm not saying that they shouldn't bring in any new aliens for the series. What I'm saying is not to bring in too many because you don't want to end up over bloating the Ben 10 series with so much content that's too much for the series and the viewers to handle. In fact, I think that's another issue with the Ben 10 sequel shows that I have. The writers would just bring in a bundle of new aliens right away. Alien Force immediately gave viewers ten new aliens for Ben to use yet, at least in my opinion, it would have probably been better for Ben to just have his original set of aliens from the Original Series while progressively adding in the new aliens as the show went on. Again, it's fine to bring in new aliens for Ben 10 but just don't bring in too many or at the very least don't bring in so many all at once or in a short period of time and just space out the introduction of the new aliens a bit more for the series.

@Tactical-Ochoa said: @admin Yeah. I mean like it could be that the artist that made this calendar cover made a mistake on Diamondhead's design. I mean like hell, they got the word "calendar" spelled wrong. Hopefully, that's very much the case. What made me think that Diamondhead has a spike on the top of his head was that freakin angle of his face. I am aware of the spike that he has on the back of his head but usually it's only visible from the front if Diamondhead's face is either at a downward angle or turned towards the side. If at a downward angle, the top of Diamondhead's head would be visible as well. Here on this calendar cover, Diamondhead's face is more of at an upwards angle and looking directly towards the people that would be looking at the calendar. You can't even see the top of his head so when I saw that spike, it looked like it was right on top of his head. Again, hopefully it's just a mistake that was made on Diamondhead's design. Yeah i was thinking the same thing that its just the angle that we see diamondhead since his head is sorta tilted down a little but so we could see the spike on the back of his head

@Omni-Triforcer Yup. Already it's so much better than the Omniverse show itself.
