Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot Part 2
-
@Rexfan1333 I'm not one of those "this show ruins my childhood" type of people. Just saying. I know that I can always go back and watch the Original Series again and I already know that the Original Series is a great show. I want the reboot to be good. I want Ben 10 to be a good series again. Sometimes re-watching the Original Series isn't going to be enough and regardless the reboot would still exist and you can only watch the Original Series so many times before doing so gets old; especially when I already know everything that happens in it. Honestly, I don't care right now that I can go back and re-watch the Original Series. That's not important right now. What I do care about is that I don't want Cartoon Network to tarnish the Ben 10 series. Is going back and re-watching the Original Series going to change and improve things for the better for me or anyone else? No, the Ben 10 reboot would still exist and it would still cause a major and significant impact on Cartoon Network and viewers. There's still a little over a month left before it premieres and the Ben 10 reboot is already having a significant and negative impact on Cartoon Network and viewers right now. Going back and re-watching the Original Series can be enjoyable to do but it's not going to change anything. It's not going to make the reboot any better. It's not going to wipe the reboot out of existence. It's not going to do any sort of damage control. Going back and re-watching the Original Series isn't going to make things better here for the reboot. If anything, the great quality that the Original Series has is going to make the reboot look even worse by comparison. After all, a lot of fans and viewers, even the new generation of kids, are certainly going to compare the Ben 10 reboot to the Ben 10 OS. Overall, going back and re-watching the Original Series isn't going to help make the current situation here any better at all.
I can go on and on about every single aspect on how the Ben 10 reboot is most likely going to be an average, mediocre, or terrible show. On how it's not going to deliver and succeed well enough during its airtime. However, what it basically all comes down to is that even with Man of Action acting as the Executive Producers of the reboot, modern day Cartoon Network and modern day Cartoon Network Studios are the ones that are making the show. Not the Cartoon Network and CN Studios of the 90s and 2000s. Not the original team that made, worked on, and produced the Original Series (I would certainly have a lot more faith in the reboot if that was the case). Not the original writers, artists, animators, producers, and everyone else that worked on and made the Original Series. No, the Cartoon Network and Cartoon Network Studios of today are making the Ben 10 reboot. The same people that made shows such as Clarence, Uncle Grandpa, Mixels (for which John Fang was one of the creators of), the PPG reboot, etc are working on and making the Ben 10 reboot. A team that mostly consists of interns and young, naive, and fresh out of college amateurs that have morals and mindsets that reek of bullshit, thinking that memes and pop culture references and progressive morals and ideals are most, if not all, of what makes a good show. That's what it really all comes down to.

@Tactical-Ochoa I agree plus also to me ben 10 is kind of tarnished already because of Dwayne McDuffie making the whole gwevin pairing plus how it seemed that him and the other people who worked on the show did not watch the original show and how they tried to retcon the story from the original show
-
@Tactical-Ochoa I understand your opinion, but seriously, what if it's good, honestly it might not be better than the original, but at least watchable, honestly what is the point in bring it back if this is what the series gets, ben 10 has always been one of the most hated shows for no reason because they don't like Ben or something stupid like that. Ben 10 is just one of those shows with a lot of potential to be great, but if this is how you and everyone treats it, what's the point of bringing it back. I want to see the series be great, but I really hate all this negativity toward it, I understand criticism which is good, I'm not a huge fan of the changes they made, but they won't listen to us. I'm at least going to give the series a shot, I really want to see what the future holds for Ben 10.
-
@KorseBLI-ND At least there was good things about the sequels too, they may not have been done amazingly, but I still found the enjoyable.
-
ah yeah but not much also I hated the frogs of war episode because of how ben forgive earth for banishing him with me if I was him I would hold a grudge plus also I would attea with a virus to kill her entire race as payback
-
@KorseBLI-ND Ben's a hero and he doesn't hold grudges, it's just not part of his character.
-
ah yeah but still have power of the pod he was banish into run out if azmuth did not show up he would be dead plus how the people turn against what happens if they do it again so that is another minus just to me he should of said to them if they say you are our hero and you are the dead and walk away
-
@Rexfan1333 You and many others have already asked me the question of "what if the Ben 10 reboot is good" many times already and I've already answered it as well. I'm not answering that again and you should already know the answer to it. Ben 10 receiving such negative reception didn't happen for no reason. It also certainly doesn't help your argument when you say that Ben 10 receives so much hate for no reason only to follow that up by providing possible reasons. Even if Alien Force did have some good aspects to it, it really did mark the beginning of the series going downhill. Ben 10 does have great potential and I mentioned that very fact many times already. Many fans and viewers give the series a lot of criticism and dislike however because Cartoon Network had never really fulfilled that potential. A lot of people did want a reboot but even more people wanted a Ben 10,000 series. Even if you hate all the negativity that Ben 10 has been going through, until the series gets back on track and that very actual potential is fulfilled, all that negativity isn't going away so deal with it. Cartoon Network also won't listen to their viewers because they think they know better; because they follow a "we're right and you're wrong" mentality, which is a bad approach to take. Cartoon Network also won't listen because not enough people are speaking up and also because Cartoon Network hasn't been given a good enough reason for them to turn things around and make changes and improvements for the better of the network and the viewers. Cartoon Network hasn't experienced enough of a failure to make them want to kick things up into gear. We've discussed the state of Cartoon Network and how badly downhill it's going. If Cartoon Network doesn't change things around for the better and put an end to their bullshit and start making some actual good shows again, it's eventually, if not soon, going to collapse. The Ben 10 reboot may be their last chance. Teen Titans Go! was already the first strike. The PPG reboot is the second strike. If the Ben 10 reboot doesn't deliver, that's strike number three and at that point it's likely that Cartoon Network is done for or maybe that third strike will mark the turning point for Cartoon Network if they actually do manage to learn from their mistakes.
I've said this many times as well. I don't think it'll even matter if the Ben 10 reboot is good or watchable. It's a reboot of the Original Series. It must absolutely need to be an improvement over the Original Series in order for it to prove that it does rightfully need to exist. That's one of the major requirements for any reboot and remake to accomplish. If the Ben 10 reboot doesn't achieve that, even if it's good, it's going to suffer from that. Like I said, a lot of people, especially the new generation of kids, are going to be comparing this reboot to the Original Series. Doing so would most likely end up making the reboot look even worse by comparison. Like I said many times before, the stakes are too high and there is too much about and that's connected to the Ben 10 reboot that is working against it. If you want to be excited for the Ben 10 reboot and want to give it a chance, that's completely up to you but at the very least follow this saying "expect the unexpected and prepare for the worst."
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Seriously dude, your more OS blinded than Im UAF blinded. At least I accept OS and OVs existense. And I and the others is going to look forward to the reboot even if you like it or not. Deal with it.
-
@Rexfan1333 I only liked the Original Series & Alien Force Season 3. I don't have the time to go back & rewatch them. I want to move on to new things.
-
@NelsonYeung2 Finally somebody else who like Alien Force season 3.
-
@Mortie-10 I'm already accepting and dealing with it. And no, I'm not OS blinded. I see things crystal clearly.
-
mortie 10 I could also e considered os blinded and I am slowly dealing with it I know one of the reasons is because of the whole damn gwevin pairing and gwevin followers destroying my old forum group if I could go back in time I would change things and fire most of the people who caused ben 10 to go down hill and the way I would fire them is how wolfram and hart fires people literally setting them on fire plus I would all the damn gwevin followers are wiped out of existence
-
@Mortie-10 said in Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot Part 2:
@NelsonYeung2 Finally somebody else who like Alien Force season 3.
I liked alien force season 3
-
@NelsonYeung2 That's fine to look at new stuff (I like looking at new stuff, but I like Ben 10 so I read a few fics here and there), but I feel you should at least give Omniverse a chance though, it's actually really good even with a few flaws.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa I know it's your opinion and that's fine, but most people at least want to see this reboot. (even if it's good or bad, I'm still watching it because it's freaking Ben 10) honestly, I just can't wait to see what this series has in the mid future like the Live Action movie and the Lucky Girl spinoff.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa You are OS blinded when you only see the original series as good and everything else as bad. Come on.

So I found out about a couple articles about the Reboot.
I'm only gonna reveal the new information and the info we've been wanting to hear for quite some time.- The upcoming "Ben 10" will be having more powerful aliens that have not been seen in previous shows before.
- Ben will be taking old villains like Dr. Animo as his quest to take over the world is still seen in "Ben 10" reboot. There will also be a new villain that kids would enjoy in watching such as Nanny Nightmare.
- It’ll take all of Ben’s heroic heart and devil-may-care attitude to save the world, but he’ll do it with his family by his side. (CONFIRMING HIS ORIGINAL SERIES/YOUNG ATTITUDE WILL RETURN IN THE SERIES.)
- It also confirms (what Tactical's wanting to hear) THERE WILL BE A NEW UNIQUE STORYLINE IN THE SERIES!
- AND THE SERIES WILL PREMIERE ON OCTOBER 1st AT 8AM... in some country that I have no idea where it is.
There were 3 articles I read this information on, but most of what I have is on here:
