  • @offbeatcat Well, try harder. Be more like Oddball. Dig just how beautiful it is out there. Say something more righteous and hopeful. Lol.

@tactical-ochoa I can't figure you out. half the time you're a stone cold critic who doesn't wanna hear my misplaced optimism, but somehow when i start getting cynical you're an optimist.

  • Say I wonder when they're release more new episodes of Ben 10 Reboot season 3? Like to see a new episode when Grandpa Max tells Ben and Gwen how he spend his college days at State University with his friends. And that episode of Ben and Gwen and Max at a family or a friend's wedding episode.

  • When they ever aired more new episodes of Ben 10 Reboot season 3 including King Of The Castle and Big in Japan soon?

  • Omni-Kix Diamondhead, Heatblast, and Humungousaur were shown off at the NY Toy Fair https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qaAZwo-EEU&frags=pl%2Cwn (they are at 2:05). In my opinion, Omni-Kix only exists just so the reboot can sell more toys. When looking at the video, I honestly couldn't even tell that Humungousaur was the middle figure -- I thought it was just a new alien.

@cooljay7 Of course it only exists just to sell more toys. The same went with Omni-Enhancements. The whole reason and purpose for the reboot show overall to exist is to sell toys.

  • So Kevin is getting his own spinoff series

  • Geez, we've barely even started on season 3 and they're already developing a season 4 AND a spinoff? They're starting to get a little in over their head...

  • Well, this confirms the theory. They're building the new seasons around merchandise, and they begin development of a new season before a season even finishes.

  • I suspect a burnout could be in the future if they keep rushing like this.

  • I suspect a burnout could be in the future if they keep rushing like this.

@Offbeatcat Same here. A burnout from both fans and viewers and likely the people working on Ben 10 as well. No one asked for this. No one asked for a show based around Kevin.

  • Well, what do you think it's going to be like? Do you think that the formula will be any different?

@Offbeatcat If they're going with the reboot version of Kevin, I feel as if it's not really going to be much different from reboot Ben considering that Kevin (for some stupid and unnecessary reason) now has his own Omnitrix instead of his original abilities. Granted, Kevin'll likely be even worse than Ben considering how Kevin acts like such a childish brat that intentionally bullies others and finds enjoyment out of it. Why should people root for someone like him in his own spin-off show? Even then, I just find it to be unnecessary overall. Kevin (old and new version) isn't the type of character that's really deserving of his own spin-off.

@Tactical-Ochoa It prob is reboot Kevin but it would be awesome if it was the og Kevin.

  • If it was the OS Kevin we could see a lot more screen time of the villains from Ben 10.

@cooljay7 Well, like I said, I don't find old and new version of Kevin to really be the type of character to deserve a spin-off show based around him. At least to me, I don't really care about giving more screen time to the villains of the franchise. I care more about fulfilling that potential that the franchise still has and further developing Ben and Gwen as characters as well as Ken and Devlin. I care more about going for that Ben 10,000 direction. Etc. That's something that the franchise actually needs. Not some unnecessary spin-off of Kevin.

@Tactical-Ochoa Same I would much rather have a Ben 10,000 series than a Kevin spin-off but at this point I'd rather have an OS Kevin spin-off than nothing for the original timeline.

  • To be honest, what i think the reboot needs is more time with a story. Story has always been the afterthought of each season. They need to chill with the seasons and merch, and just put more time into a season. plan things out.

@cooljay7 That is if the spin-off is going to involve OS Kevin, which I doubt is going to be the case. If this spin-off show really is going to happen, it's more likely going to involve reboot Kevin since that the reboot is what's currently going on right now. I wouldn't even be surprised if the Kevin spin-off show is being made just to sell more toys and merchandise too.

@Tactical-Ochoa It's all but confirmed that it is, as shown by the pattern. Here's hoping the show at least gets a different team of writers.

@Tactical-Ochoa I agree with you. It's going to be reboot Kevin and it's 100% being made to sell more merchandise.

Why did I even say hyped at all When it's out I will watch it. If it ends up good then great I guess. It really gonna be my first time watching the reboot outside the first few episodes. If the execution of the original characters turns out to be terrible, well honestly I couldn't expect less from them.

So according to this link by MoviePilot.com that lists 10 facts about Ben 10, Joel Silver might not be involved with the Ben 10 live action movie anymore. What we already know is that in 2011, Joel Silver was called in to produce the Ben 10 movie under Warners Bros and Dark Castle Entertainment while in 2012 it was reported that Albert Torres was writing the script. This we already know. What I think we don't know was that Joel Silvers left Warners Bros in 2013 and now works at Universal Studios. Ryan Engle was also brought in to continue working on Torres' script, which I believe means that Torres is no longer working on the Ben 10 movie. MoviePilot states that the Ben 10 movie might be made by either Warners Bros or Universal Studios but I doubt that Universal Studios is going to be working on Ben 10 simply because Ben 10 is owned by Cartoon Network, who is owned by Time Warner and Turner Broadcasting, who also owns Warners Bros and Dark Castle Entertainment. Universal Studios is owned by Comcast and NBCUniversal and not Time Warner and Turner Broadcasting. Cartoon Network is not going to hand this movie to Universal Studios but instead they would hand it to Warners Bros because of this. Therefore, Joel Silver is not involved with the Ben 10 live action movie. Whether or not anyone here knows about this already, I'm posting this here anyways for those who don't know about this. http://moviepilot.com/posts/3900108 Joel Silvers leaves Warners Bros: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/warner-bros-joel-silver-317552 http://news.doddleme.com/news-room/warner-bros-joel-silver-part-ways-after-25-years/ http://flickdirect.com/news/3854/joel-silver-producer-of-the-matrix-leaves-warner-bros/article.ashx Ryan Engle working on the Ben 10 Movie: http://www.slashfilm.com/live-action-ben-10-adaptation-adds-black-list-screenwriter-ryan-engle/
