@KineceleranGirl I recall hearing something like that. I guess I wouldn't mind about him being a vigilante or something of the likes as long as him and Ben remain as enemies and not friends. Not only do I think Kevin is far more interesting as a villain, but I think he has the potential to be one of the best and most dangerous and terrifying villains in the franchise. Moments like what you mentioned from the Ken 10 episode I think showcased that. Kevin's powers combined with his sheer obsession towards making Ben suffer is a very dangerous recipe that could really create quite an intense conflict for Ben, Gwen, Ken, etc. to deal with.

@cooljay7 said in State of Cartoon Network: @coreofthesun Yeah every current CN show looks the same. @cooljay7 I think that this video by the Roundtable does a pretty solid job at talking about the lack of diversity of artstyles in animated shows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XclDdSrcU4U Especially with Cartoon Network. What I find interesting is that the Ben 10 reboot was actually meant to have a more anime inspired art style before executives told them to tone it down and simplify it. Which is honestly kinda sad. Overall it is concerning that the art styles from over 10 years ago look better and more varied than the artstyle's today which look very same-y.

I like Omniverse’s artstyle in general and the background art in particular is superb although I prefer the Classic’s artstyle. But yeah the aliens can sometimes look ridiculous and not in a good way. As a young kid I remember seeing Big Chill for the first time in Omniverse and being horrified at what they’d done to his appearance, especially since that he was aesthetically the best looking alien from UAF imo and then they turned him into a bodybuilder. The stylisation works on some designs admittedly well though. @KineceleranGirl I love all of Perkins’ aliens as well but a few of them are probably too freaky even for Ben 10.

@KineceleranGirl I really like the effort put into the Omniverse real-time morphing as well, and it makes the fast paced action scenes much better.

@coreofthesun Granted, there were a lot of things that the writers of Alien Force didn't pay much attention to.

they all had their good and bad points so I don't really have a favorite series, they are not perfect by themselves.

Wyatt isn’t exactly that reliable when it comes to lore and often contradicts himself. So yes, I would not believe everything that he says. I appreciate him for being one of the only people still willing to answer questions about the franchise but he can come off as a jerk sometimes. As for the topic...ngl I would absolutely love a new sequel to the original series to do it the justice it deserves in terms of continuity and tone. I wouldn’t mind an Omniverse sequel or Ken 10 so long as they are engaging shows, and an Omniverse sequel to give some kind of conclusion to the original timeline would be the most logical option I suppose

@npzman I do remember Charmcaster mentioning that Ben had a magical aura of sorts as well, meaning that he could be a sorcerer with enough practice in theory, but something tells me that he’d get way too impatient to bother with the slow learning curve of magic lol.

I can't be stuffed to repeat what I just said but if you are going to advocate and defend the Bwen ship. Then I'd suggest you all to make a 2nd account with a entirely different nickname so you don't carry any Bwen baggage when you go to the major Ben 10 communities and that you be clean. No amount of Bwen gratification is worth loss missing out on having friends and respect from people. However if you like to talk about Bwen here then I can't stop you. Even if I could you'd just find a different place to talk about it.

@Tactical-Ochoa It’s more of a personal headcanon than anything. Galvanic Mechamorphs are comprised entirely of nanites and aren’t biological at all. Perhaps hybrid is the wrong word to use, but given that Ben’s voice stays the same when he turns into Upgrade as well as how he needs to use existing tech rather than turning into machines like most Mechamorphs, I don’t think that Upgrade is entirely Mechamorph. The idea of him having a few machines which he can turn into is interesting, especially with @Jamma ‘s suggestion of limited memory of those, but I prefer Upgrade to be used creatively and this would mean that his weakness away from technology wouldn’t apply as much. With Ditto I do understand your point. Ben being creative with his transformations in conjunction is something shown whenever Ben (or Ben 10,000) has master control. I think that they could’ve used quickchange in UAF a lot better to make use of ‘combo moves’ as I like to fall them.

@LaciDarkBlueUni Hopefully we'll get that soon but I'd personally be fine if they don't rush a new show - quality over quantity and all that.

@Mortie-10 Nice stuff. Alien Swarm actually takes place between Season 2 and 3 of Alien Force canonically, with Heroes United takes place sometime between the Ultimate Alien episode "Ben 10,000 returns" (since we see XLR8 used in Heroes United because he was unlocked by Ben 10,000 for his younger self) and the start of the Diagon arc. So a revised version would be: Main continuity Ben 10 (Original Series) Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix Ben 10: Race against Time Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens Ben 10: Alien Force (Seasons 1 and 2) Ben 10 Alien Swarm Ben 10: Alien Force (Season 3) Ben 10 Ultimate Alien (up until "Ben 10,000 returns") Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United Ben 10: Ultimate Alien (after "Ben 10,000 returns") Ben 10: Omniverse Reboot continuity Ben 10 (Reboot) Ben 10,010 Ben Gen 10 Ben 10 Alien X-tinction

@Tactical-Ochoa Fair, I guess that it's a similar deal to the location of Springfield in The Simpsons where they keep it vague as to where it is, often using contrasting location evidence to further throw people off.
