@coreofthesun From what I recall, there were creative differences between Man of Action and Cartoon Network in regards to making a sequel to the Original Series. Cartoon Network eventually decided to have a different team take over the project.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if something like this happens again. From what we know, Man of Action isn't happy with Cartoon Network's vision of the franchise based on comments from Duncan Rouleau. I wouldn't be surprised if CN ends up decided to have another team takeover Ben 10. Personally, I wouldn't be opposed to this. I prefer a more story driven series of Ben 10 and think that the next step for the franchise is a Ben in his 20s that will eventually lead into Ben becoming Ben 10k. I feel like for a show like that, it needs to be story driven, with a serious tone and serious threat.

@cooljay7 Personally I don’t mind which direction we go so long as the new show is made to be an engaging series first and foremost. In the event of a 2nd OS sequel the later installements wouldn’t be thrown to the wayside, since the new series would be a different continuity. All of them would still exist and be watchable.
As for the structure of whatever new series we get, it should be ideally story driven (though the odd filler episode is fine as long as it is good). I don’t think that the series should be super mature and gritty all the time but it should definitely have proper stakes, something that for the most part was lacking in the reboot and even in Omniverse for a lot of the time. And character development - we need to see Ben and the supporting cast grow as people and mature but still maintain their distinct and unique personalities to make them feel like people.
Though I think that a series with Ben in his 20s is the most logical thing to happen but I’m not sure whether the creators want to go back to that, hence why I thought that they may do a new sequel.

Network (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X7bb8luLgo) but I think this is the best case scenario if they decided to make a sequel to the original series. A show like this would fill in the gaps of the current storyline and would also make fans happy who want a continuation to the OS.

@cooljay7 Speaking of D.C. Network, looks like he wants to partner up with the Ben 10 Club to try and convince Cartoon Network to return Ben 10 back to the original continuity.

Crazy theory, but what if Cartoon Network starts listening to us fans if their are enough of us? It would have been wicked cool if the fans got to decide what happens in the future of the franchise!

@Mortie-10 I think it's possible they do if there is enough fan involvement. If it happened with Star Wars The Clone Wars, why can't it happen with Ben 10.

I mean, christ, they're bringing back a pre-school and live-action block. Mind you, the last time Cartoon Network did a live-action block, it nearly killed the network. Hopefully things are changing for the better though.

@Tactical-Ochoa The thing is that we aren't Cartoon Network's audience. They target a much younger demographic and I know that back in the day when live action was on the network, the target demographic enjoyed it. As much as I'm not a fan of live action returning, it might be something that the current generation of kids enjoy.

@cooljay7 Are you sure about that? Again, the live-action block that Cartoon Network did before nearly killed the network. It performed that badly. It failed miserably. No one wants for live-action to return to Cartoon Network. Therefore, I highly doubt that the younger demographic enjoyed it.
Speaking of said younger demographic, they say that the shows are "made for kids," but I don't think that's actually the case here. One of the major complaints towards Cartoon Network that I noticed was how even though it's said that many of their current line of shows were made for kids, they don't feel like they're actually made for kids. One person that I follow on Twitter sums those cartoons up as "coffee shop cartoons," as in they're made specifically for young adults. College students trying to be hip and progressive or something of the likes.
Cartoon Network's ratings have been dropping in recent years. And no, I don't mean just TV-wise. Streaming-wise, they're losing viewers as well, including kids (link below). The very demographic that Cartoon Network says they're catering towards are not watching their shows. Kids have been looking at Cartoon Network's current line of shows, don't like what they're seeing, and instead gravitated towards Netflix and YouTube. If you're a young adult (more specifically a young college student trying to be hip and progressive), you actually are Cartoon Network's currently targeted demographic, even though they're saying otherwise, and that's proving to be a problem for Cartoon Network because, again, their ratings have been dropping and are continuing to drop. More and more kids have stopped watching Cartoon Network. I have a feeling that Cartoon Network don't even realize why given the current decisions that they're making.

I wish I could punch Kuro in the face right now! OF COURSE IT WAS BEN PRIME IN THE SPECIAL! All four of them was Ben Prime, just from different periods in time. Kuro is just a stupid guy who thinks he is the god of Ben 10 for whatever reason. I honestly hate him, and Im tired of everyone adoring him.
