  • Sorry for not replying in a while. The last two episodes was fantastic. Seeing Ashis transformation was pretty good. Thats have you do character development. I don't like that Aku killed the Scotsman, but atleast he returned as a ghost. It was very nice to see him again. It was seeing all those people Jack helped again. And seeing Scaramouth and Demongo again was very suprising. And Scaramouths infamous line was the best line ever. And I really like seeing adult Ashi naked, even if she have been naked the whole time though. The scene with her as a child was very terryfiyng to watch. I also like the samurai song. And I loved that she saved Jack in the end. Would have been cool if the Grim Reaper was voiced by Greg Eagles like in Billy and Mandy though. I guess there is more to say, but whatever. Two fantastic episodes and Im looking forward to episode 7 and the rest of the season.

  • Episode 7 is out. Jack get's his swooord baaack. Also um, unless you're Jack himself, it's not the best idea to piss off Ashi...ever.

@Tactical-Ochoa What a good episode. It was great to see a "flashback" of good old Jack losing his sword. And it was epic as hell seeing Ashi defeat the whole army and her mother by herself. I doubt her mother is gone tough. And Jack finally got his sword and old look back. Now we are closing in to the finale, I wonder how it will turn out. My guess is that Jack dies and Ashi use the sword to kill Aku, or otherwise. Actually I hope both survive, but I think that one of them will die, but surely don't hope its Ashi. Shes my new favorite character.

@Mortie-10 Oh my god, Ashi just demolishes that entire army. I love how she uses one of the warriors as a shield to use to plow through a good chunk of the army, causing many of them to fall off the rock formation. I laughed so much from that scene. So ridiculously glorious. Like the movie "300" except it's just one chick and she freakin wins.

  • I just started watching Samurai Jack for 1st time starting from season 5.

  • Just seen episode 1 of season 5 . I don't why it is a adult show. It can go on Cartoon network just fine

    @npzman
    I understand why.
Most of the Samurai Jack fans from 2001-2004 are now adults, Season 4 ended 13 years ago so it makes sense.

And I'm glad it's not on Cartoon Network anymore because it would be a screwed up "Comedy" show.

  • I loved episode 8. Best episode so far. Im think Im gonna make a top 10 episodes list once this series is over. I loved Jack and Ashis realitionship in this episode and loved they become a couple. I was nice to see Ashi naked again and Jacks reaction to it. Overall very good episode. Looking forward to the finale.

@Tactical-Ochoa Im not to impressed with episode 9. Sure it is a good episode, but it starts and ends a way I don't like. It start with revealing that Jack and Ashi wasn't... you know... during the night, whitch everybody belived happened. Scaramouche is back atleast, but his voice sounds like if Tom Kenny was sick during recording. And his interactions with Aku where fantastic. However, I don't like that Aku killed him. Jack and Ashi conversation about defeating Aku was pretty strong. I also liked the fact that Jack is in fact dating the daughter of his worst enemy. I don't like that Ashi was turned evil again and that Jack gave up. Such a bad ending. But I guess since it is a two-parter its kinda expected. So far the weakest episode of season 5, but not a bad one.

  • THE FINALE IS HERE!!! And god how good it was. The finale battle against Aku was the best thing ever. The Scotsman was at his best. It was really funny seeing the old theme with Mako again. And Jack is finally back to the past and finally destroys Aku. It was extremely sad seeing Ashi fade away from existence. I hoped so mutch that she and Jack would marry and have kids. Im sure the ladybug at the end is Ashi's spirit talking to Jack. Most powerful episode of the season. My favorite is episode 8 though. Here is my top ten episode list:
    *Episode 8
    *Episode 10
    *Episode 6
    *Episode 7
    *Episode 2
    *Episode 3
    *Episode 5
    *Episode 1
    *Episode 4
    *Episode 9

@james I'm guessing not anymore because he's now back in his own time period.

@james He may still be as a side effect of time travel.

@npzman I do remember Charmcaster mentioning that Ben had a magical aura of sorts as well, meaning that he could be a sorcerer with enough practice in theory, but something tells me that he’d get way too impatient to bother with the slow learning curve of magic lol.

@Rexfan1333 That's another thing. I don't hate the reboot's art style either. I just don't like it and I just give it a lot of criticism. With Cartoon Network, we're now at a point where this is just unacceptable because like you said, Cartoon Network's reasons for wanting to go for these types of art styles is bullshit and they and their artists and animators are really just being cheap and lazy here. Like I said, it likely won't even matter that much to many if the story and writing is at least going to be good because the artwork and animation quality alone can turn many viewers away from the reboot. Having a strong story and writing is very much important but so is having some great quality artwork and animations. Artwork that can set the stage for the settings, environments, characters, etc. Animations that can deliver on many of the scenes that we're going to be seeing here. How are viewers supposed to be able to get invested with Ben developing as a character when he looks like crap? How are viewers going to be able to get invested in Ben's aliens if at least some of them look ugly and/or don't even look that much alien at all? How are any of the action scenes going to be good and memorable if the animation quality doesn't back them up? Yes I know we haven't seen any action scenes yet. It's just a point that I want to make. Overall, if they're going to have a strong and memorable story, setting, characters, scenes, etc, then they need to be able to be backed up well by a good quality art style and animations. Otherwise, there would be a chance that things can fall flat pretty badly. Just imagine Young Justice and Legend of Korra looking like the Ben 10 reboot or the PPG reboot or Teen Titans Go! or Clarence. Imagine Young Justice and Legend of Korra having the lower quality animation work that Cartoon Network Studios is being more known of making. Even with a strong story and characters and all that stuff, those two shows would fall flat pretty badly. Imagine the Ben 10 Original Series having this type of art style and/or this quality of animations. We would more likely not be looking up to the Original Series as much as we did back then and still do and Ben 10 would more likely not have been able to be as successful as it was back then. Omniverse had some good story aspects and moments to it but the art style and animation quality doesn't help to hold those good story aspects and moments up that well. I previously thought that story, writing, characters and all that stuff are more important than visuals but really the visuals of a show, movie, video game, etc are really just as equally important. Everything needs to be able to work and blend together seamlessly and very well. If one of those seams hits a snag and breaks, chances are that everything can fall apart either quickly or eventually. Just something that I want to point out. A strong story is very much important but just as equally so does that apply to having strong visuals and animations as well.

Well, unfortunately, just like before, Fullerton wasn't able to provide anything. Also, she said that she's not involved with the Ben 10 reboot. Well at least not yet as she said. At least it was worth a try though.
