I miss Spanner's Ben 10 story, and I'm wonder why Ben 10's son hasn't had his own cartoon series.

There are two things that I'm going to address here with this season finale in Ultimate Alien. One, Ben's decision to kill Kevin and two, what I think is a missed opportunity with Ultimate Kevin. Now it has been a while since I've seen Ultimate Alien so if I get anything wrong, feel free to correct me on it. In regards to Ben wanting to kill Kevin, I recall seeing many in discussions argue that it was an out of character moment. That it wasn't something that Ben would've actually done. I don't think that is what makes his decision to kill Kevin the problem here. I think it's more on the matter that it wasn't handled well. Maybe even came out of nowhere and had little to no build up or something. The idea of Ben being pushed to kill someone is actually a solid direction to take the character in and this isn't the first time this actually happened in the franchise either. The Ben 10,000 episode in the Original Series established that there would be a point where Ben would kill Vilgax and do so in a rather brutal and gory fashion. In fact, the Little Moments fan fiction series very much indeed has Ben kill Vilgax in the very fashion that the Ben 10,000 episode implied and I say that it was handled quite well. This is an event that would impact Ben's transition into Ben 10,000. Heck, the Ken 10 episode showed Ben nearly beating Kevin 11,000 to death because Kevin harmed Ben's son, Ken. It wouldn't be out of character for Ben to be pushed into killing someone, but instead, is an important character moment for him. I just don't think that the Absolute Power season finale in Ultimate Alien handled that well. There is one thing that I do think was certainly out of character for Ben to do and that is attack Gwen. Given everything that those two have been through together, how much their relationship has improved, and how much they care for each other, I don't see Ben EVER doing that. I had that same issue with the 3D CGI Ben 10 short that was meant to promote Destroy All Aliens as well. No matter how much they fought and argued with each other, I don't see them going so far as to use the Omnitrix and magic to literally fight each other. That was one of the dumbest and nonsensical moments in Ben 10 and their fight scene with each other in Absolute Power was also dumb and nonsensical. Then there's Ultimate Kevin. I've stated plenty of times before on how I prefer for Kevin to be a villain instead of a hero and explained my reasonings as to why. I think it just seems more fitting for Kevin to be a villain and to fulfill the role of being Ben's evil reflection. I think Ultimate Kevin is a missed opportunity to put Kevin back into that very role. Not just that, but also act as a good and fitting moment that would significantly impact Ben's transition into Ben 10,000. I stated this in a Ben 10 Discord server that I'm in so I'm going to share it here as well. I think how I would've handled the Absolute Power finale is not have Ben decide right away that Kevin needed to be killed. Instead, have Ben contemplate how he should handle Kevin. To make a tough decision of whether if there still is a way to help Kevin or if Ben really is forced to have to kill him in order to stop him, an option that Ben doesn't want to pursue. After all, Ben is a hero. He wants to help people. Ben and Gwen work together to hatch up a plan to help Kevin. They don't fight each other. They work together. I think almost everything else from that finale can pretty much stay. Darkstar and Cooper are recruited and preparations are being made. Kevin absorbs some of Gwen's mana, thus painting a target on her, which makes Ben concerned. Kevin just hurt Gwen and the plan relies on Gwen intentionally putting herself in danger and being bait. Maybe the plan is starting to get too risky now, thus Ben contemplates his options of killing or saving Kevin again for the reason of wanting to protect Gwen. Ben cares about Gwen and doesn't want for Gwen to get hurt or worse. The plan is enacted and then things go wrong. The plan falls apart (maybe at least some of the energy and DNA that Kevin absorbed is taken out of him to be given back to his victims). Maybe Darkstar betrays the group and sabotages the machine that was supposed to turn Kevin back to normal. Maybe Kevin has too much energy and DNA in him and it causes the machine to overload and malfunction. Either way, Kevin doesn't return back to normal. Kevin is still in his mutated and insane state and he goes after Gwen. Gwen's life is in danger, pushing Ben to his limit and he nearly kills Kevin to protect her. The plan is a failure and it seems that there's pretty much nothing that can be done now to help Kevin. Kevin is too far gone and all that can be done at this point is to toss him into the Null Void. Ben and Gwen are deeply impacted by this event, thus contributing to Ben's transition into Ben 10,000. I think this is pretty much how I would've handled Absolute Power differently here. I think this would make Ben's decision to kill Kevin seem more fitting and better handled, Kevin would be a villain again, and this would be a character defining moment that would impact Ben's transition into Ben 10,000. If anyone has any thoughts of their own on this topic, feel free to leave a comment.

@pewneekorn I hope not but, No, I'm almost sure he'll get a talking role in this series he's one of the Main characters in Ben 10, and if they do Then is That is the biggist mistake MOA/CN have ever made in their Shows as Ben 10, after having removed the eyes from him in Omniverse

I generally liked the crossover. I hate Teen Titans Go, but I love The Powerpuff Girls. And they being superior over the Titans is just selfexplenetory. Hope Ben 10 crossover with the girls some time in the future.

@Rexfan1333 That's another thing. I don't hate the reboot's art style either. I just don't like it and I just give it a lot of criticism. With Cartoon Network, we're now at a point where this is just unacceptable because like you said, Cartoon Network's reasons for wanting to go for these types of art styles is bullshit and they and their artists and animators are really just being cheap and lazy here. Like I said, it likely won't even matter that much to many if the story and writing is at least going to be good because the artwork and animation quality alone can turn many viewers away from the reboot. Having a strong story and writing is very much important but so is having some great quality artwork and animations. Artwork that can set the stage for the settings, environments, characters, etc. Animations that can deliver on many of the scenes that we're going to be seeing here. How are viewers supposed to be able to get invested with Ben developing as a character when he looks like crap? How are viewers going to be able to get invested in Ben's aliens if at least some of them look ugly and/or don't even look that much alien at all? How are any of the action scenes going to be good and memorable if the animation quality doesn't back them up? Yes I know we haven't seen any action scenes yet. It's just a point that I want to make. Overall, if they're going to have a strong and memorable story, setting, characters, scenes, etc, then they need to be able to be backed up well by a good quality art style and animations. Otherwise, there would be a chance that things can fall flat pretty badly. Just imagine Young Justice and Legend of Korra looking like the Ben 10 reboot or the PPG reboot or Teen Titans Go! or Clarence. Imagine Young Justice and Legend of Korra having the lower quality animation work that Cartoon Network Studios is being more known of making. Even with a strong story and characters and all that stuff, those two shows would fall flat pretty badly. Imagine the Ben 10 Original Series having this type of art style and/or this quality of animations. We would more likely not be looking up to the Original Series as much as we did back then and still do and Ben 10 would more likely not have been able to be as successful as it was back then. Omniverse had some good story aspects and moments to it but the art style and animation quality doesn't help to hold those good story aspects and moments up that well. I previously thought that story, writing, characters and all that stuff are more important than visuals but really the visuals of a show, movie, video game, etc are really just as equally important. Everything needs to be able to work and blend together seamlessly and very well. If one of those seams hits a snag and breaks, chances are that everything can fall apart either quickly or eventually. Just something that I want to point out. A strong story is very much important but just as equally so does that apply to having strong visuals and animations as well.

Yes, but I mean like what types of gases he could shoot, stuff we could've potentially seen but have not seen? I ended up figuring out a couple ideas, one which is Chlorofluorocarbon, which if Gutrot neutralizes just right, he can use to almost freeze a person, if not, the opponent will become an environmental hazard.

So according to this link by MoviePilot.com that lists 10 facts about Ben 10, Joel Silver might not be involved with the Ben 10 live action movie anymore. What we already know is that in 2011, Joel Silver was called in to produce the Ben 10 movie under Warners Bros and Dark Castle Entertainment while in 2012 it was reported that Albert Torres was writing the script. This we already know. What I think we don't know was that Joel Silvers left Warners Bros in 2013 and now works at Universal Studios. Ryan Engle was also brought in to continue working on Torres' script, which I believe means that Torres is no longer working on the Ben 10 movie. MoviePilot states that the Ben 10 movie might be made by either Warners Bros or Universal Studios but I doubt that Universal Studios is going to be working on Ben 10 simply because Ben 10 is owned by Cartoon Network, who is owned by Time Warner and Turner Broadcasting, who also owns Warners Bros and Dark Castle Entertainment. Universal Studios is owned by Comcast and NBCUniversal and not Time Warner and Turner Broadcasting. Cartoon Network is not going to hand this movie to Universal Studios but instead they would hand it to Warners Bros because of this. Therefore, Joel Silver is not involved with the Ben 10 live action movie. Whether or not anyone here knows about this already, I'm posting this here anyways for those who don't know about this. http://moviepilot.com/posts/3900108 Joel Silvers leaves Warners Bros: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/warner-bros-joel-silver-317552 http://news.doddleme.com/news-room/warner-bros-joel-silver-part-ways-after-25-years/ http://flickdirect.com/news/3854/joel-silver-producer-of-the-matrix-leaves-warner-bros/article.ashx Ryan Engle working on the Ben 10 Movie: http://www.slashfilm.com/live-action-ben-10-adaptation-adds-black-list-screenwriter-ryan-engle/

Well, unfortunately, just like before, Fullerton wasn't able to provide anything. Also, she said that she's not involved with the Ben 10 reboot. Well at least not yet as she said. At least it was worth a try though.

@Mortie-10 I'm not sure about Tara and Magen are returning, but I wouldn't mind them returning honestly. I would love to see a different portrayal of Ben and Gwen. It is a reboot after all.
