  • I meant to mention this but i asked duncan rouleu if he thinks people that prefer action will still like the reboot and he responded with i do

    @Omni-Triforcer Oh yeah, I think I saw that on Twitter. Well, I'm still greatly skeptical and concerned about this reboot, though.

  • This is an update to any further activities that I've done on this website. I made two new discussion posts. One focused on discussing the fan debate as to either a more mature Ben or a more cocky Ben being better for the series while the other focused on discussion my thoughts on a fan popular concept of having Ben and Gwen be a romantic couple in the series, even though they are cousins. If anyone that follows this page would like to check these posts out and maybe even join on on the discussion in them, I'll leave links to those discussion posts here. I'm also putting the links here because I want to add these posts as part of my arguments and discussions on the Ben 10 Reboot and the Ben 10 series as a whole.

    @Omni-Triforcer Lol. No worries. You didn't know. I asked Rouleau because I believe last month he said that the reboot was in production and I wanted some clarification on what he said.

  • Its been confirmed that each episode is 11 minutes NOOOOOOOO!!!! http://anmtv.xpg.uol.com.br/cartoon-network-planos-para-2016/ 11 minutes is not enough time to develop a story this has confirmed my fears the show will probably not be that much action and this is very dissapointing

    WHAT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Goddammit Cartoon Network. Thanks for the info, even if it is bad.

  • someone has pointed out that MOA said that the show will be more action then comedy so thats good.

  • someone has pointed out that MOA said that the show will be more action then comedy so thats good.

    @Omni-Triforcer Just because the reboot will have more action than comedy is not going to be enough. There's more that needs to be done as well. Story, character development, setting, etc. Most of this can be hampered by length. Just because there's more action than comedy doesn't mean that it will turn out great. Alien Force and Ultimate Alien is my example of that and I already discussed the many issues that those shows had.

    Not only that but no this is not because kids like shorter content. I'm sorry for the language but this is typical Cartoon Network bullshit. Cartoon Network is just being lazy and cheap here. 11 minutes is the same length for each episode of Teen Titans Go as well. I don't think it even matters if this reboot is more action oriented. If Cartoon Network makes this reboot more like TTG, we got ourselves a very serious and bad problem here.

    Wow its funny how some people have completely different reactions not to say either of you are wrong another person has said that the show being 11 minutes does not mean it will turn out like ttg and there have been many action shows that were 11 minutes i have hope that this show will be good and i will watch but i definitely agree this isnt looking good.

    @Omni-Triforcer Yeah, I know but still, people are getting really freakin tired of CN doing stuff like this. It may not likely be like TTG but it does feel like it to me and I don't like that at all.

  • Yeah i just really hope the show surprises and is better then im expecting to be. That in mind Duncan Rouleau has stated that he thinks older ben 10 fans will like the reboot.

    @Omni-Triforcer I'm honestly doubting that.

    @Omni-Triforcer I just sent Rouleau a tweet about that. I'll have to wait until I get a response back, which may take a while.

  • w0w we both had the same idea i sent a tweet to lets see which person he responds to.

    @Omni-Triforcer Lol.

  • I am making this post as an update for this page. Considering the recent information about the Ben 10 Reboot in regards to the run time lengths for each episode, admin made a discussion page about this very info, where I left my opinions and criticisms about the 11 minute length for the reboot's episodes. I'm including those very opinions and criticisms to my main argument by posting link to that very discussion page. If anyone is interested in reading and/or participating on that page, here's the link to it.

    Thanks to admin for setting up the discussion page as well as leaving a link to my "Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot" page that he left a link to.

    Overall, 11 minutes is way too short and if this info really is true, then this is just another example of Cartoon Network being lazy and cheap and that is very much unacceptable for this reboot.

  • This is a reminder that I am still encouraging anyone who does agree with my arguments and ideas to share this topic page all over the internet and social media to help gather up more supporters to convince Cartoon Network to take a better direction for the Ben 10 Reboot and to let Man of Action have the creative freedom and control that they need to make the Ben 10 show that they truly want to make. I am also encouraging anyone that wants to support my arguments and ideas to contact Man of Action and Cartoon Network and attempt to convince them to take that better direction that I'm arguing for and to put some real effort in to make an actual and great Ben 10 show. To not only contact Cartoon Network and Man of Action but to continuously repeat that message to them two to four times a week for every week. There is still a good chance that this effort can be pulled off if we gather enough support from fans of the Ben 10 series. Here are the contact links again that anyone can use to contact Cartoon Network and Man of Action.

    Cartoon Network:

    I will also be adding the Twitter pages of Duncan Rouleau and Joe Kelly as additional means of contacting Man of Action.

    Joe Kelly:

    Here is also a link to a Yellow Page website page that contains information about Cartoon Network Studios, the production team working on the Ben 10 Reboot. This includes their phone number and business email address. If anyone wants to try and contact CN Studios, then I guess you can try using this link as well. I believe it should be a suitable link to use and hopefully could work for trying to contact CN Studios and discuss the Ben 10 Reboot with them as well.

    @Ebomnitrix You make some good points. Yeah, Ben 10 is more successful internationally (although, of course that would be the case since that you're comparing the United States to...well...the rest of the world so I don't find that to be a fair comparison) but that doesn't mean that we should get a show that is of mediocre, or at the very least lower, quality. Yes, they should try to take a different approach considering that it's a reboot but they also need to make sure that this show is an improvement over the previous shows as well. To me, there is no excuse for a show to be of lower quality and that includes the one that you gave. Even then, come on. We all know that Cartoon Network really had this show made just to sell more merchandise. This is Cartoon Network here being the Cartoon Network of today that so many are getting so sick and tired of. It wasn't made for the new generation of kids. It wasn't made for international viewers. That's really just bullshit. This show was really made to sell more merchandise. I also try not to look at things from a nostalgic perspective when discussing such topics like this as well. I make sure to look at things from a more...I guess "objective" is the right word...perspective. Or maybe "analytical" is a better word to use. Either way, I try not to look at things to nostalgically because I don't want to be biased. Even when compared to other recent Cartoon Network shows like Clarence, Steven Universe, Uncle Grandpa, the Powerpuff Girls reboot, We Bare Bears, etc, the Ben 10 reboot doesn't have a lot of substance to it because it's just so similar to those other shows. Even when I don't compare it to the original Ben 10 show or even the sequel shows, I don't find the Ben 10 reboot to be a good show; especially when it comes to the writing and direction. If the Ben 10 reboot really was a good show, I would be more than happy to praise it. However, the Ben 10 reboot is not a good show. At best, it's average but this is a mediocre show that, like I said, was made just to sell more merchandise.

    There are some issues people aren't realizing though, most people want to watch shows online, not just for free and to avoid ads, but to just watch everything faster and avoid all the crappy shows the network has to offer. Cartoon Network barely makes a million views now because they're focusing on a streaming service that nobody is going to use. Boomerang will be a shock if there is enough people touching it but overall CN is going to screw themselves over if they focus more on the business and not the channel itself, which they haven't been doing since 2015. They maybe thinking TTG is going to lead them to success but they're wrong if they think only airing a handful of all the shows you're making right now is going to do anything, if you have 20 shows and only air 5 and a movie we've already seen a million times, its not going to do enough for the network to last much longer, take a look at what happened to Nickelodeon, they've been losing money to the point where they lost the amusement park, and I doubt anybody really watches the award shows anymore. And another thing to mention, the only way to get ratings is a Nielsen box or to have Xfinity, they won't count the ratings any other cable providers offers so the ratings wouldn't do much since it only goes to those people. Now for what reason I don't know, but since a lot less people either don't have those boxes and prefer watching shows online, even on properties like KissCartoon/KissAsian, WatchCartoonsOnline, Animeflavor, Gogoanime, you name it, and its a long list.
