  • Either way, reason of Bwen or not, again, Kevin should have never become a hero character. As stated before, @car54 made a great analogy that sums up Kevin's transition into being a hero. Much like the Joker and Emperor Palpatine, Kevin just doesn't work as a hero, an ally and best friend for Ben, and a boyfriend for Gwen. He didn't even do a good job of being a hero and a Plumbers officer. Kevin continued to commit various different and very serious crimes even when he was a hero. It's freakin stupid.

  • @car54 i guess they needed a way to explain why gwen was on the roadtrip so they chose her being a cousin.

    @Omni-Triforcer
    She was going to go as Ben's friend from school, although a friend with a contentious relationship. CN decided that having her on a summer road trip with her male friend and his grandpa had dirty overtones.....I think they had their own minds in the gutter.

    It works fine in the AU story I'm planing. In that, one or both of her parents were plumbers so they know Max and know they can trust him with their daughter.

    @car54 Dirty overtones? I think you're overthinking this. Gwen was made into Ben's cousin because it makes more sense that way. I even stated why. Simple as that. It's even said so on the Ben 10 Wiki, Tv Tropes, etc.

    I don't remember where I read that they thought it was inappropriate to have her alone with them. They were worried about some kind of protest from these groups who watch cartoons looking for something to complain about.

    @car54 Yeah, that doesn't sound right.

    There are a lot of people these days who are looking for reasons to be offended. It's easy to believe that they would be worried about it. They were the ones over thinking it.

    @car54 Probably not back then but recently, oh yeah, it;s getting really bad now. Curse you Anita Sarkeesian and your ridiculously outright ignorantly stupid bullshit.

    Ben 10 premiered about the time people started to complain that Loony Tunes was to violent and racist (CN edited the Loony Tunes cartoons as a result) so those kinds were already around.at the time.

    @car54 Well, I did said probably. It's got a lot worse since then. That's for sure.

    I like him with the beard. And I love Grandpa Max Tennyson with a beard too.

    @KineceleranGirl I recall hearing something like that. I guess I wouldn't mind about him being a vigilante or something of the likes as long as him and Ben remain as enemies and not friends. Not only do I think Kevin is far more interesting as a villain, but I think he has the potential to be one of the best and most dangerous and terrifying villains in the franchise. Moments like what you mentioned from the Ken 10 episode I think showcased that. Kevin's powers combined with his sheer obsession towards making Ben suffer is a very dangerous recipe that could really create quite an intense conflict for Ben, Gwen, Ken, etc. to deal with.

    Another thing I've noticed in the end ultimate alien Azmuth said to Ben he might give him the master control for the Omnitrix on his 18th birthday which would give access to over a million alien. But future Ben would end up with a mere 10,000 Alien ?

    Something recently came to mind and that is who I find to be a suitable choice to provide the voice of Ben 10,000/adult Ben Tennyson; especially for the direction for the redesign that I discussed here. That choice is Reuben Langdon, the voice of Dante from Devil May Cry 3 to the recently released Devil May Cry 5. Thinking back to Dante as a character and Langdon's performance of him (most notably his DMC5 performance), I find that Langdon would be a suitable choice to provide the voice of an adult Ben Tennyson. Dante is an incredibly cocky and fun-loving individual and the same can pretty much be said for Ben as well. Cocky and fun-loving while still treating more serious situations with, well, seriousness and focus. Plus, I also find Langdon's DMC5 Dante performance to also sound like a proper match for an adult Ben. If I were to imagine how Ben would sound like as an adult based on the voice that Tara Strong is well known for displaying, I say that Langdon's voice would be a very close match. Feel free to check out Dante in DMC5 and see for yourself if that sort of voice and this very voice actor would indeed be a good choice to voice an adult Ben or not.

    I forgot to state this as well. For anyone that reads this, if @chronosapien234 provides information about the Ben 10 reboot, mostly in regards to any new aliens and the designs of the characters and Ben's aliens, but doesn't provide proof that adds to the credibility of that information, don't accept the information from him as truth. Accept the possibility that he is lying. In fact, ask him to provide proof that credits the information that he provides. Again, I had been waiting for months for him to provide some images of the artwork for the reboot. I even asked him over and over in the past and got nothing but mostly unjustifiable excuses from him. I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just stating what's been going on between me and him and what my best recommendation is with him. You don't have to listen to me but this is what I suggest for people on this website to do and that's my reason why.
