  • Ah tactical I was thinking like books or videos or music to unlock stuff also I would love the Ben 10 game be like akiba strip now that is a Ben 10 game I would play

@KorseBLI-ND maybe without the whole getting your clothes destoyed kind of thing, I wouldn't mind seeing a hack and slash Ben 10 with Kingdom Hearts graphics and depth, that would be awesome. Sucks that CN is holding Ben 10 back with its greed.

@Rexfan1333 Well, as I mentioned a while back, I'm taking steps to get hired by Platinum Games in hopes of having them make a Ben 10 game.

@Tactical-Ochoa That would be awesome, I also wish to get in contact with Studio Trigger to see what they think of animating a Ben 10 series, but have no idea how. They will make Ben 10 a badass for sure.

  • Rex I mean where in the game you can use everyday items as weapons or power ups plus also have missions where you have to take pictures of stuff

@KorseBLI-ND Sorry, didn't know that, never played the game, but seen screen shots and clips, looks fun actually.

  • Ah yeah it is fun I love going to areas in taking pictures and also going to maid cafes which I would love to visit one in real life

@Rexfan1333 Just look up Studio Trigger's website and find the contact info. Make sure that it's the official website as well. You're going to have to do more in order to pitch the idea to them though. You can't just contact them and present your idea to them. You may have to be an actual employee of Studio Trigger in order to even be able to pitch your idea to them. Otherwise, they won't be willing to take it without risking getting into legal trouble. Even them, I bet there's going to be even more steps that would have to be taken to even allow for Studio Trigger to be able to make a Ben 10 show.

@Tactical-Ochoa Yeah, I'm hoping the CN will eventually lose the rights to the franchise so they can do it, sucks I'm not a employee or anything because I would love to pitch it to them.

Brazilian trailer of the reboot. Sadly Charles Emmanuel didn't returned to voice Ben. His new voice actor is Eduardo Drummond, who voices: Russell in Up, Gumball (seasons 1 and 2 and singing in The Lie) and Billy Parham (The Egg) in The Amazing World of Gumball, Henry in Henry Danger and Jimmy in UAF and Omniverse. Can't wait to see it dubbed! I'm probably one of the very few people who actually like the reboot and couldn't care less for darker and edgier works.

@GoodVibes1999 That's fine if you like the reboot, I like it as well, but it just feels like they want to profit off the Ben 10 name and make money off it, which is really sad to see. I honestly want to see CN lose Ben 10 and see it in its full potential.

  • @Tactical-Ochoa the mobile 3d runner. It shows Ben's origins

@Omni-Triforcer said in Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot Part 3: Show/Episode Discussions:

@Tactical-Ochoa the mobile 3d runner. It shows Ben's origins

@Omni-Triforcer I just saw that. I'd much rather see it in the show itself though. Also, they can't seem to even get simple continuity right. It was established in the promos that a meteor crashed on Earth carrying the Omnitrix. Not a pod.

  • On the Ben 10 Reddit, a user known as yay855 makes some solid points about Ben's aliens and the villains in the Original Series that I want to share on here. I'll also provide a link to the topic page where this user made this very point.

    Quote by yay855:
Which is completely ridiculous, as the appeal of the alien forms was that their design didn't matter, only what they're used for. It was a powerful lesson, that our actions mattered far more than what we looked like. The original series was essentially teaching kids how to be proper heroes, about the true value of good deeds, all that.

Plus, the original baddies served as dark parallels to Ben himself. Doctor Animo was his desire for glory, Kevin was his greed, the Forever Knights were his apathy. By defeating these negative aspects of himself, Ben grew, solely because he didn't want to be like them. Heck, even the giant space tick taught him the value of life through its acolytes, who didn't care about anything but the tick.

Now, it's just generic monsters and villains who are evil for the sake of being evil.

@Tactical-Ochoa Those are some really good points, I agree with yay855, me and him were also talking about how Studio Trigger should handle a Ben 10 reboot, if you like to talk about here is the link.

Love to hear your opinions on it, I really want this to become reality someday, this idea is just too good to not happen, the possibilities are freaking endless.

After some thinking, I realized something that I forgot to mention. On its own and when compared to the Original Series episode, Last Laugh (considering that both episodes use the same story premise in regards to Ben dealing with his own fears), The Clocktopus is still not a good episode. It still suffers from poor writing and I mentioned other aspects of this episode that also holds it back. However, when compared to other episodes of the Ben 10 reboot show, it is a better episode. Despite the problems that I have with Steam Smythe, I still like the theme of his character and he is at least a better villain than the other villains that were showcased in the reboot. He's just an annoying villain much like with the Weatherheads and, at least to me, the writers just exaggerated a little too much to him or something of the likes. Like I said, there was some potential with this villain. Like I also said before, at least Ben's fear of squids does give him some struggle with fighting Steam Smythe and thus helps to make the conflict a little more challenging. So yeah, even though I find that the episode still had some really poor writing and the episode itself is still not good, it is better than the other episodes of the Ben 10 reboot. However, considering the quality of the other episodes of the Ben 10 reboot, that's not saying much. At best this episode is just average.

@Ebomnitrix And there's your episodes folks. I'm going to make a part 3 to Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot. Part 2 is already going on for long enough now and I plan on having part 3 be made specifically to discuss and comment on the episodes of the Ben 10 reboot. Here is the link to part 3. http://ben10club.org/topic/181/addressing-the-ben-10-reboot-part-3
