Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot Part 3: Show/Episode Discussions
-
@Ebomnitrix Figures. I thought something seemed off about the episode descriptions on Wikipedia.
-
@Ebomnitrix I have barely seen Heatblast at all, the main aliens they seem to go for are Diamondhead, Four Arms and Cannonbolt.
-
In those episodes yes
But if you look at every episode of Ben 10 so far for the Reboot, we either get Heatblast, XLR8 or Four Arms.
And Cannonbolt was barely in Episodes 11-30, I would assume maybe twice at most? -
Any sign of Episodes 32-36 being online?
-
@Ebomnitrix I don't know. As usual, Cartoon Network is just terrible with their scheduling. Before, the next set of episodes are supposed to air in the US on May 18th or somewhere around that. Now, apparently it's May 29th.
-
Well, as expected, the Ben 10 reboot is getting a second season.

Yay! A second season. I hope to see more original series villains and aliens! And Sandra, Carl, Natalie and (insert Gwen's dad's name here, because I don't remember it). And maybe even a Ben 10.000 episode.
-
So Episodes 37-40 will be titled "Omni-Tricked" as a one hour special, airing legit on Memorial weekend, I really hope someone can upload the final episodes of the season because this has me excited:

"Today, Cartoon Network announced that the hit series Ben 10 has been renewed for a second season following the successful global launch about the boy with a mysterious watch. Since its U.S. premiere in April, Ben 10 has reached nearly 41 million viewers across a wide spectrum of platforms including linear, mobile and VOD. In season two, the network will build on the fan excitement for Ben 10 by expanding its multi-screen world to include new console and mobile games along with a host of other immersive experiences.
Ben Tennyson, his cousin Gwen and Grandpa Max will embark on their greatest summer vacation ever during the second season. The heroic adventures will continue as Ben meets new aliens, friends and foes while discovering exciting twists and surprises within his Omnitrix!"

So if we are only going on the first two episodes, then here are my thoughts.
I enjoy the voice acting of the characters, the behavior of the characters and the attributes and habits of the characters. Besides that the show is pretty meh. I enjoy how Ben likes sumo slammers still, Gwen is a geek, and grandpa doesn't care what the hell his grand kids do.
For the first episode I thought it was really face paced, had little to no back story on anything, and had pretty bad content overall.
The second episode, to be honest was more or less the same as the first. Content wise I think it was a littl better than the first, mostly because of Hex and Ben showing off how much he really knows about the aliens, like when he is explaining to Gwen how to use upragde, you can tell he has the expierencee he should have with the Omnitrix.
Well those are my thoughts, I'm hoping the show will improve in the next couple episodes, if I can get past the fact stink fly is completely different and upgrade is purple and wild mutt bieng replaced by overflow and..., sorry got Carried away. -
And here's the schedule for May 22th to May 28th.
-
The only thing I like is that Ben 10 is actually doing really well internationally and that we at least get airings of Ben 10 as much as Gumball. I hope it keeps up.
As for Teen Titans GO.... It needs to leave, especially so that PPG, Clarence, Adventure Time, Uncle Grandpa, LEGO, We Bare Bears, Gumball and even Cloudy can gain more room on the network. -
@Ebomnitrix Doing really well internationally? Do you have any links that provides the viewer ratings for the Ben 10 reboot in other countries? Or is that based on news articles that were made to promote the Ben 10 reboot and give the impression that it's doing well even though it has a negative reception among viewers?
-
Sorry I should've linked this when I revealed this but

@Ebomnitrix Ok so it's another news article that was made to further promote the Ben 10 reboot and give off the impression that it's doing well even though it doesn't provide any ratings and other proper statistics that proves if as to whether or not it's actually doing well.
-
I'm pretty sure that the reboot is going relatively well because some of the viewers don't care about the nostalgia and/or the fans' opinions and watch it because they like it.
-
@GoodVibes1999 Some but not most.
-
@GoodVibes1999 i've also heard alot of kids say that they enjoy watching it
-
@JrPhilgene Things are really just a mix bag right now. Some like it; some don't. Fans, kids, newcomers, etc. Most of the reception that I come across is negative among fans and kids. It just evens out to more of a mix reception when you look more towards the kid viewers and newcomers. Granted, I've noticed that many had lost interest in the Ben 10 reboot after the halfway point of the first season.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa well most if not all of the first season is very poorly done there were a few good episodes here and there but
