Which girl is the perfect girl for Ben?

  • We have talked alot about Bwen being better than Gwevin the past few days so I thought to start a discussion about whitch girl is better for Ben. In my opinion, I prefer Julie. I don't know why really, shes just so sweet, kind and sexy. Have you seen how her skirt flips while she is playing tennis? I bet Ben payed attention. However, I also like Gwen, Eunice and Jennifer Nocturne. But Im not liking Kai Green and think shes a stupid wife choice for Ben. Who do you think is Ben's perfect girlfriend and why?

  • Yeah I also liked Julie, she was treated really badly by the writers of the show and deserved Ben unlike Kai. (even though I don't mind Ben and Kai being together)

  • Y'all know who I'm rooting for if you've been following me around on here. Please go to the Bwen topic page for why.

The problem with Julie was that she didn't really do a lot. More often than not, she's just there for the sake of being there. There are some moments where she does stuff but more often she's just...there. Then the writers try to make Ben and Julie's relationship more strained in Ultimate Alien yet I didn't really give a crap because there isn't a lot that Julie offered other than that she's sweet and kind and cute and all that stuff.

As for Kai, my problem with Kai wasn't in regards to the episode, Benwolf, in the Original Series where she wanted to keep Ben as a pet werewolf. Kai was a kid back then. She's still learning morals and what not. Kids are kids and kids like to have something that they find to be really cool and having a well-trained werewolf as a pet is a pretty badass thing to have. Regardless, that was still immoral and wrong for Kai to do what she did to Ben. At the very least though, I think I can see why and therefore understand why.

My problem with Kai was how they implemented her in Omniverse where, for some reason, the writers thought that it would be a good idea for Kai to suddenly have some strange attraction towards Ben's alien forms. They really misunderstood her and therefore they ended up making Kai a pretty unlikable character. What should've been done instead was that Kai should've realized the mistake that she made, learn from that mistake, and then genuinely apologize to Ben the next time they met after the Benwolf episode. It would allow Kai to have some better character development and a better and more positive reception from fans and viewers. Granted, I don't think Ben would've really try to form a relationship with Kai again even if he does forgive her. Mostly because there is someone else that would be much better and more suitable for Ben to be in a relationship in (cough Gwen cough). Lol. Plus, even after forgiving Kai, her treatment of Ben in the Original Series felt like a "the deal is off" type of thing. That after what happened, Ben wouldn't want to be in a relationship with Kai after that incident but at the very least they could just be friends and nothing more than just friends.

  • I prefer Gwen.

In my opinion, Julie suffered a lot from being a satellite love interest, as I said in the Bwen-Gwevin topic, the writers apparently were only worried about Gwevin, and Julie was just there so they could show every once in a while that Ben had a girlfriend too. Maybe if they had paid more attention to her, I could see something more between her and Ben.

So according to this link by MoviePilot.com that lists 10 facts about Ben 10, Joel Silver might not be involved with the Ben 10 live action movie anymore. What we already know is that in 2011, Joel Silver was called in to produce the Ben 10 movie under Warners Bros and Dark Castle Entertainment while in 2012 it was reported that Albert Torres was writing the script. This we already know. What I think we don't know was that Joel Silvers left Warners Bros in 2013 and now works at Universal Studios. Ryan Engle was also brought in to continue working on Torres' script, which I believe means that Torres is no longer working on the Ben 10 movie. MoviePilot states that the Ben 10 movie might be made by either Warners Bros or Universal Studios but I doubt that Universal Studios is going to be working on Ben 10 simply because Ben 10 is owned by Cartoon Network, who is owned by Time Warner and Turner Broadcasting, who also owns Warners Bros and Dark Castle Entertainment. Universal Studios is owned by Comcast and NBCUniversal and not Time Warner and Turner Broadcasting. Cartoon Network is not going to hand this movie to Universal Studios but instead they would hand it to Warners Bros because of this. Therefore, Joel Silver is not involved with the Ben 10 live action movie. Whether or not anyone here knows about this already, I'm posting this here anyways for those who don't know about this. http://moviepilot.com/posts/3900108 Joel Silvers leaves Warners Bros: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/warner-bros-joel-silver-317552 http://news.doddleme.com/news-room/warner-bros-joel-silver-part-ways-after-25-years/ http://flickdirect.com/news/3854/joel-silver-producer-of-the-matrix-leaves-warner-bros/article.ashx Ryan Engle working on the Ben 10 Movie: http://www.slashfilm.com/live-action-ben-10-adaptation-adds-black-list-screenwriter-ryan-engle/

@chronosapien234 Yes, true. The Circus Freaks were important with his plan. However, that's just because they're villainous henchmen characters. Even without Zombozo, the Circus Freaks still end up temporarily as the henchmen to another villain. You know, Ghostfreak. Pretty much almost every time we've seen the Circus Freaks, they are serving somebody. Mostly Zombozo. They're just villainous henchmen characters. They helped but they're not really all that important. In fact, I believe that there pretty much wouldn't be a difference at all if they aren't around. Why? Because, again, they're henchmen. They're also basic thugs, too. The Circus Freaks are not that important. Also, this is about Zombozo as a character and villain. What makes Zombozo who he is. Why he is like that. How he executes his plans. What makes Zombozo as Zombozo and he doesn't need the Circus Freaks for that. That is another out of the many problems with Omniverse and even the other sequels. The Original Series was able to do things that not many cartoon shows ever did. The Original Series did something new. The sequels were generic and typical cartoon shows. They barely did anything new if nothing new at all. That episode in Omniverse with Zombozo turning everyone in Bellwood into zombie clowns. If it was a nod to the Original Series, it failed at trying to delivery and do something unique and impressive. No instead, it ended up being another terrible episode due to Ben regaining his fear of clowns and one major plot hole that really ruined that episode, let alone the sheer cartoonish stupidity of it. Does nobody remember that Zombozo and the Circus Freaks are villains? Does nobody remember what they've done in the past? Oh, Ben regained his fear of clowns, huh? Thanks for making Ben conquering his fears in the Original Series pointless now, Cartoon Network. As for the plot hole, ask yourself this question? Those toy teeth that turn people into zombie clowns. Yeah, how is it that those teeth can bite through Plumber armor and hazmat suits let alone BASIC CLOTHING? They're plastic toy teeth. Is Plumber armor really that terrible and not that protective? I thought Stormtrooper armor was bad enough. Plumber armor is even worse. That one plot hole alone makes that entire episode freakin stupid and terrible. It shows how poor and lazy the writing, structuring, and designing of the sequels are. I know it's a cartoon show but again, it needs to make sense and needs to be understandable enough to work.
