Ben 10 reboot discussion: Season 3

This is where we'll discuss season 3, as the disastrous season 2 has concluded.

Long story short:
- Weatherheads are back for another base, except rather than in the forest, this episode is a beach episode
- Ben goes Rath for a cosplay convention (furry confirmed)
- Zombozo (and the hipsters) return. This time, it seems he successfully manages to brainwash the entire family, and he's working with the Knight
- Two new supervillains are being introduced
- Simon is coming back (and the summary OPENLY states he's making things worse)
- Charmcaster is back, and she uses the trick in "In Charm's Way" to take Gwen's appearance for an evil plan
- Kevin is coming, with his own version of Cannonbolt: Wreckingbolt
by Miley Cyrus - One last thing: some of the episodes reference UAF/OV episode titles, such as "Rath of Con" and "Charm School's Out"

Ok...so rath makes his debut. so, who's he replacing? or are they ditching the stupid rule about only 10 aliens? We saw a new alien in a teaser, so does this mean 2 aliens get replaced this season? Does kevin have 10 or 11 aliens? I have many questions.

As the toy description says, Kevin has 11 aliens. Rath is supposed to replace Overflow, like Slapback replaces Grey Matter and Humungousaur replaces Wildvine.

huh. i see. i'm not exactly thrilled with this roster of aliens. has he used 10 different aliens, or are there still some missing?

@ungrateful-wolf i was talking about ben. In any case, where did you learn which aliens are replacing who? If you don't know the full roster, there's a chance we might not have lost some aliens we think we've lost. please bring upgrade back

i'm really hoping humongosaur replaces four arms, because if ben has both, then we essentially have two strength aliens.

Well, the roster I got is more or less because of the new opening we got, with said aliens I mentioned.
Also, if Upgrade comes back, it won't be thanks to what happened in the season 2 finale. Upgrade's pod exploded in Omni-Tricked and his DNA merged with Ben's to become Glitch. If we want Upgrade back, we'll need a new viable Galvanic Mechamorph sample (and for Ben to stop toying with it so much) -

I liked the idea of Kevin having his own Omnitrix and still do but I don't like the way they are handling it. When I first saw it I thought that Kevin would have his own unique aliens. I was fine with that. But they are being so lazy with this. Kevin's aliens are just anti versions of Ben's. Thats just lazy and dumb.

i love the idea. I really do. But as this is the reboot, i don't think they were ever trying to make this an overarching story. it's merely a string of coincidences. We can't get our hopes up YET.

@offbeatcat Agree. I highly doubt that any of these scenes were meant to foreshadow the Forever Knights.
