Ben 10 Reboot Discussion Part 1: Season 2
-
@andrew42 I hate that theory and I really doubt that’s the case. Why would they take an alien out of the omnitrix? Especially a classic and interesting alien like upgrade
-
@ultimate-omnitri to keep it at a status quo of 10
-
@andrew42 @Ultimate-OmniTri Didn't Man of Action mention before that this time around they wanted for Ben to have only 10 aliens in this show?
-
@tactical-ochoa I think they did.
-
it would make sense...
-
@andrew42 @cooljay7 Granted, it's not really something that I favor. I prefer for Ben to unlock more aliens and have more than 10 as time passes by. It helps to add more variety to the show and it helps to make battles more interesting. Plus, to me, it fits into Ben learning more about the Omnitrix and further developing his skills and capabilities in combat. However, at the same time, it's also important not to add too many aliens and any aliens that are pointless to have and thus not over-bloat Ben's roster. Only add up to a certain amount of aliens with each alien being unique and useful and standing out from each other much like what I discussed in my ideal alien roster page that I made a while back.
-
@tactical-ochoa I'm not a fan of only having ten aliens. I agree with you about how more aliens bring more variety. Is it true that Gax is seen as an option on the Omnitrix, I haven't watched any of Season 2 yet.
-
@cooljay7 Based on what I've seen so far with season 2, no. Might as well stay that way too considering that Vil took Gax out of the Omnitrix so that he could become Vilgax (jeez, to me, that still sounds pretty stupid or non-sensible or confusing or whatsoever).

His name wasn’t actually Vil, he was just saying that because ben called himself Gax. He was always Vilgax

@ultimate-omnitri So, does this mean we're getting more Ben 10 in the winter?
-
@andrew42 there’s gonna be a special in December in France called The New Alien
-
Hey I was thinking I wonder will Man Of Action ever gonna do a special Ben 10 Reboot Christmas episode soon that'll be cool.
-
Here is the Animo Rath transformation in HD

And here, finally, is the Shock Rock transformation from the newest two-parter "The 11th alien"

I really like Shock Rock, he looks like a cool alien.
-
We finally got our first elemental alien, despite it being disguised as an electrical alien, its great!
-
@ebomnitrix First elemental alien? Uhh, Heatblast, Wildvine, and many many more.
-
I mean an alien having all elemental powers @Tactical-Ochoa
People have been wanting a Fire-Water-Air-Earth alien all in one for years -
@ebomnitrix Should've worded that better then. Also, really? I believe that's the first time I've ever heard of that. An alien able to control all 4 of the classic elements. Don't you think that seems too, well, powerful, breaking the balance between Ben and his opponents? Don't you think that would also make Ben's other aliens (Heatblast, Overflow, etc) completely pointless as well? Also, this new alien has all 4 elements? How do you know that? The transformation video doesn't really showcase that. As far as I can tell, this new alien is just an electric-based alien.
