@omni-triforcer Yes, I am happy because now you're being more specific and less vague and I agree with you on that. Yes, this may be the first time that we get to play as Stinkfly, Upgrade, and Grey Matter in a mainline console Ben 10 game. Well, that is if the developers do decide to put them into the game. And no, I didn't know exactly what you meant because you were being vague. I can't read your mind, you know. I can't even see you at all.
We are talking about a console game why would i be talking about anything else?
-
@omni-triforcer Is this game going to be on PC as well or no? I'm aware that it's going to be on the Switch but what about the other gaming platforms?

Im pretty sure it was confirmed for all platforms not just switch. Im not to sure about pc though.

Omni-Triforcer is right, Battle Ready was not a video game nor a console game, it was a computer game. It wasn't Hyper Scan, it wasn't a game for Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo and not even Leapfrog.
Sorry but this is where you're considered wrong, and PC games may count as a console game but there wasn't an official release, nor did we have to pay money out of our pockets to pay for this game. That and there wasn't a lot of effort into Battle Ready. -
@ebomnitrix You don't need to buy it for it to be considered a video game. There are numerous free-to-play games out there that are played on consoles and PC. It doesn't have to be considered an official release either to be considered a video game. There are numerous unofficial fan-made games out there that are considered as video games. There's also a lot of video games out there that also didn't have a lot of effort put into them. They're still considered video games. Yes, Ben 10 Battle Ready is a video game that you play on a browser.

@tactical-ochoa We have the right to be hyped. Here at the ben 10 club, ben 10 is a big thing to all of us. Don't dull it down for us, please.
-
@andrew42 That's completely up to you. If you want to be excited for this game, then go ahead and be excited for it. I said this many times. They're just my opinions. You can disagree with them and I'm completely fine with that. You don't have to listen to my opinions. I would recommend not having such high hopes for the game but if that's what you want to do, you are free to be hyped for the game.

I have loved every ben 10 game so i have very high hopes for this game.
Also it seems like we may have missions going off the xlr8 screenshot which is a cool idea.
And the game is confirmed to be split into 3 episodes which is interesting -
@omni-triforcer Good for you. Hopefully the game does turn out to be pretty good or at least decent.
-
Is the game coming out for other console's like the ps4 or Xbox one etc.

Yep! You can preorder for those on amazon as well.
Itd be cool if for the new game we get different styles of gameplay for each alien. Instead of the basic beat em up style for each alien maybe stinkfly is flying sections, xlr8 is racing sections, grey matter is for going into vents and stuff etc...
this is a game about a reboot why not reboot the games as well -
$40 for this? I'm guessing by "episodes" they mean levels. If that's the case, a $40 game that only has 3 levels and looks to likely just be a decent beat-em-up game?
And October 31st is the release date. Games like Forza Motorsport 7, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, The Evil Within 2, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, Destiny 2, Assassins Creed: Origins, and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus are all coming out in October. Hell, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is coming out 4 days before the Ben 10 reboot game. Call of Duty WW2 is coming out on November 3rd and Star Wars Battlefront 2 is coming out on November 17th. Jesus, this Ben 10 reboot game is going to get demolished in its sales.
-
@tactical-ochoa I don't think that's the case. I'm fairly certain that the episodes will get divided into 3 or 4 levels, not including a boss. Also, i'm pretty sure that each alien will have some unique quirk to change up combat. In any case, i'm hoping this game takes after the omniverse one.
But you're right, the ben 10 game comes out at a terrible time.

Episodes do not mean levels. Episodes are like mini games with their own story. Each episode will probably have around 5 levels each.

@andrew42 @Omni-Triforcer Again, it's a guess. There are some games out there where episodes do equate to being one single level each. The same can go with chapters. For example, the Dead Space series would structure each single level as a chapter. Each Max Payne game classifies each level as a chapter. Each single level of Battlefield Hardline is labeled as an episode. Each single level in Alan Wake are classified as chapters. Granted, yes, episodes can have multiple levels and if each episode is a single level, it can have multiple sections (I never said whether or not each episode in the Ben 10 reboot game with have sections in them). Still, one episode can be classified as one level and yes, one episode can also contain multiple levels. It all depends on how the developers structure the game. As far as I can tell (and anyone can disagree with me), this Ben 10 reboot game has 3 levels since that there are 3 episodes. I could be wrong here. This is just a guess. We'll know for sure once the game comes out. I don't expect the game to be long either. My guess is that the game is going to be 2-4 hours long.

Its very likely that the new game will be playable at NYCC and since im going i will be sure to record some footage for you guys to see.
