So according to Wikipedia this is the 1st episode of season 2
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Ben_10_(2016_TV_series)_episodesSounds like a cool episode. Hopefully it actually is cool.
-
I've learned not to trust Wikipedia titles while this.does intrest me i'll wait until we hv actual confirmation of this
-
@JrPhilgene Yeah, I would agree with you on that.
-
Not only that, the description has even been edited. Not only that, Charlotte Fullerson and Matt Wayne don't even work on Ben 10 anymore, if anything its all new writers, and a few old writers, Man of Action, and Jonathon Collin, other than that, there's no way any other writer would return from the previous series.
-
The name of the episodes may be correct but the description isn't
-
@JrPhilgene Yeah, I doubt they're really going to bring in a villain from the Powerpuff Girls reboot, unless Cartoon Network wants to try and pull another "TTG! vs PPG" crossover type of episode with the Ben 10 reboot. Then again, the Powerpuff Girls reboot is pretty much dead and very much forgotten.

The CN Schedule for June 19-25. Teen Titans Go! is back at number 1.

Looks like Vishnu's triggered that ANOTHER show took over his favorite show's spot. I just really want this guy fired, and we get someone better who can control CN's schedule so we can have some VARIETY.
Same with the idea of new episodes everyday instead of weekly, because new episodes every week instead of 20 new episodes a month gives people the more common patience to wait for episodes, especially when its easier to manage. -
Wait yuri lowenthal is gonna be a regular?

@Omni-Triforcer Interesting and I guess he will be voice acting other villains.
-
@Omni-Triforcer That article's been out for a while. I remember reading it before. God though, there's so much that Man of Action says that really makes them so out of touch with the Ben 10 franchise.

I dont get what you mean

@Omni-Triforcer A lot of what they say isn't correct. Like how they stated that the older fans are now in their 20s and in college and therefore had moved on. No, much of the older fans are still into the Ben 10 franchise. They stated how the overall reception for the reboot is positive. Really? Everywhere you look, you will find that most of the reception for the Ben 10 reboot is strongly negative. Where did Man of Action get that from? Either they're lying and trying to make it look as if the show is doing well or they really haven't been following up on social media in regards to the reboot. Or both. They stated how it was too soon for Ben to age pass 10. We had one show that focused on a 10-year-old Ben going through his entire summer road trip, ending with said road trip coming to an actual end with Secret of the Omnitrix, for three years. Hell, Man of Action were even going to make a sequel that would have Ben and Gwen in their teenage years. It was the perfect time to have the characters grow up.
Stuff like that.

Its not like they are wrong about that first part though. Many of my friends that watched OS with me have since moved on from ben 10. and obviously they wont talk about the negative press the reboot is getting

Omni-Triforcer has a point, most people who are in their 20s have moved on. While some people haven't and go back to the golden age of when Ben 10's popularity spiked (Alien Force and Ultimate Alien) because most people who are in the Ben 10 fandom usually prefer Ben 10 during that time-span.
And I can kinda see Man of Action flip flopping with the idea of aging Ben and Gwen, I think at most they wanted to push for 14, not 17. But even then, some people can agree it was too soon to be done, and I think MOA is realizing over the years they now regret that decision.
If there's one thing I can agree with is your right about MOA losing touch with the Ben 10 fandom, they skipped the incarnations that people really liked and paid more attention to. Though Rebooting was their choice, they at least came back on board to make sure the show was done more their way, because we could have something much worse right now if they didn't come back. But people now don't want a Reboot, the Ben 10 fandom needs to expand beyond kids, and CN doesn't see that anymore, because they now think that kids won't understand a thing or something like that. But the point is, MOA has lost touch with the fandom, and rebooting it, though it was the smart way to go, its also dumb since you're not trying hard enough to keep the old fans there.
Ben 10's biggest problem is people want more exciting thriller episodes that get people excited for stuff to come, like the 200th Two-Parter, War of the Worlds, Vengeance of Vilgax, A New Dawn, Omni-Tricked, etc.
Shows like The Flash and Steven Universe have succeeded that because they give you a good payoff, and thought that's what the Reboot did at the end of the season. Now we need to expand upon that rather than most of the time getting episodes that revolve around filler or something that doesn't catch our eyes, we need less of that.I feel like Season 2 is gonna open that door up for us with new aliens and the battle armors, and who knows, maybe even more new villains can debut this season. Because I can see Darkstar returning, Charmcaster and Kevin 11 debuting (maybe even make another 4 parter inbetween seasons for Kevin), and even newer exciting villains that really push the stakes, because that's what people want. A Ben 10 series where its "anything goes", and we push the stakes and surprises and throw things everywhere. I'm not saying we need a plot to do that, but we either need an overarching plot to the series, or we need to see Ben, Gwen and Max pushing their limits so we can watch these characters grow, and Pokemon XY succeeded in doing that because by now most people who have watched Pokemon or still are, they can confirm XY is one of the best of the series.
Another thing I'm going to say, every show is going to have its flaws, and we have to even agree the original had its flaws, but as long as this show can improve it over time, then this show might become better than UA/Omniverse, which means we're at least a step closer to getting more high quality episodes.

Totally agree with what ur saying dude. Although they did say that they have plans for future Ben whether that be teen ben or ben 10,000 we won't know till we see them but the plans are there. Maybe we will see a ben 10k episode.

So what can you guys see happening in the next season?
