Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot Part 3: Show/Episode Discussions
-
@Ebomnitrix however I feel like this should be 44 minutes instead of 22 cuz 22 is the standard ben10 episode length
-
You're forgetting this show is now 11 minutes, so this will be a 22 minute episode.
Also now that the season finale is revealed to us, we all thought it was Vilgax, Kraab and others but now that its different villains, we're opening to a second season, especially since the Bentiution took up Episodes 39 and 40 -
@Ebomnitrix wait the bentuition clips count as episodes??
-
@Ebomnitrix How do the Bentuition shorts take up two episodes? That doesn't make sense. It was even stated at the NY Toy Fair that Vilgax and Krabb will be revealed at the end of season 1. Hell, the Original Series had shorts and they don't add together to count as 1 or 2 episodes.
-
Just to remind the Ben 10 Reboot is going to air tomorrow in the U.S
-
@Ben-10-Fan yeah we most likely will get the newer episodes too
-
Guys so according to the ben 10 wiki vilgax will appear in the ben 10 reboot season 1 ep 37 escape from the null void
http://ben10.wikia.com/wiki/Ben_10_(Reboot)/Episodes
Thats great the null void is back and we might get some information about the plumbers in this episode or maybe in the next few episodes. -
-
@james I thought the half hour special was supposed to be a rehash of Ben 10 vs. The Negative 10. Instead it's a rehash of Back with a Vengeance now? Which one is it? Or are they really doing two half hour specials or something?
-
@Tactical-Ochoa They'll probably do two half-hour specials. It was originally stated that the reboot would have 40 episodes so 37-38 will probably be the Vilgax ones and then 39-40 will be the Negative 10 ones. Or vice versa.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa i'm guessing that one is 37-38 and one is 39-40 I think the vilgax one is 39-40 but we'll see
-
@XLR8isBest @JrPhilgene I guess. That's pretty much the best way I see it as.
-
They removed the Episode's 37 and 38 from Wikipedia
-
@Ben-10-Fan And so they did. Same with the Ben 10 Wiki. Was there even any actual official information that backed up that they were going to do one of or both those specials?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwZ8ikv8frYThere's some interesting discussions in the comments section of this video as well.
-
So they added episodes 37-38 again
-
And I noticed that Wikipedia doesn't have freaky gwen ben lined up on the list of episodes
-
@JrPhilgene No, I see Freaky Gwen Ben on there. Listed as the 14th episode.
Also, the US viewer ratings are out for the first 4 episodes. 0.99 million for the first two episodes and 0.89 for the second two episodes of the premiere hour. I don't see that as a good start; especially considering that link about TV ratings that I posted on my How to...properly...advocate on the Ben 10 Reboot (and other shows) page, which I will link again on here as well.
-
Actually I've looked at the ratings for the CN shows that have been airing the past week. So far Ben 10 is actually done well, meanwhile We Bare Bears has been plummeting.
However Clocktopus did better than the 1 hour series premiere.
Another sad thing to point out here is, Cartoon Network has had 0.0-2.0 ratings for the last 3 years which for the network sounds like they need to do something immediately. -
So if any of you have been looking at the credits of the Reboot, there's been new Bentuition clips for the endings.
My best guess is 2 episodes were used to make Tuition shorts meaning Season 1 will total with 19 half hour episodes, consisting of 36 episodes, 2 digital episode shorts, and of course the unknown season finale that's a half hour special, meaning 38 of the 40 episodes.
I feel like Season 2 is going to do the same thing.
