@james Well the background art looks like absolute crap. It looks like a couple of kids with crayons drew them and yet unfortunately this was made by a team of professional artists.. Also, pop culture references. It also looks like Ben and Gwen are going to be recording all sorts of videos of Ben using his aliens. Possibly to upload them on YouTube or something or who knows what.

as for Upgrade, I'm curious how he could merge with a wooden skateboard... but that was still funny.

@Ebomnitrix Yeah I didn't find those shorts funny at all and I have a really good sense of humor as well. Instead of being more subtle and clever with the comedy, it's more over-the-top and overly exaggerated much like with Cartoon Network's other recent shows. It doesn't work for a show that's supposed to be an action show. Comedy in action shows usually work at their best when it's clever and more subtle. It doesn't help either that this show also relies on pop culture references (that will get outdated quite quickly if not already being outdated) to sell the comedy as well.
Oh yeah, here's another thing about those video shorts. That skateboard is a plank of wood with wheels. How did Upgrade integrate with that? That's not how Upgrade works. He's supposed to integrate with technology and machinery. Not certain items such as a freakin wooden skateboard.

@Ben-10-Fan That doesn't sound like Paul Eiding. Not even close.
When Paul Eiding voices his characters, he has more of a...raspy or harsh, I guess...sound to his voice. He's one of those few voice actors that has a voice distinct enough to be recognized as his. Max in the reboot doesn't sound like Paul Eiding at all here.
@Ben-10-Fan Yeah I even just recently asked Paul Eiding himself and he confirmed it's not him.
These promos and the sneak peek look pretty good for me.

So that promo video that was posted where @Omni-Triforcer thought that the green eyes in the shadows was Vilgax. Actually, that really wasn't Vilgax; that was Ben. Also, I'm guessing this person saw a couple of episodes of the reboot. Maybe.
(Turn on english subtitles. It's not great but they do help a little with understanding what the person is saying. Same for the other video.)
