  • I was thinking of what if Ben 10 was Ben X instead, I honestly think Ben X sounds cooler and X being the Roman numeral for 10 makes sense. Which version do you think sounds better?

  • Ehhhhh, I'd rather prefer Ben 10.

  • What if X was like his superhero name. I never really thought of ben 10 as a secret identity since it has his name in it so what if X was bens secret identity a superhero with the power to transform into different aliens, It would never happen but its fun to think about.

@Tactical-Ochoa No problem, but I prefer Ben X honestly, it sounds more mature than Ben 10 which sounds childish to me.

@Omni-Triforcer Max Steel and Danny Phantom is a secret identity, both are the heroes real name. I rather Ben have a secret identity than be famous again, it just ruined it for me honestly.

  • Yeah i don't want ben to be famous again but i just feel that ben 10 isnt concealing his identity well enough. (Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom was so obvious everyone in that show is stupid

@Rexfan1333 I don't mind if people know of Ben's heroic deeds. The problem however was that the writers decided to have Ben be treated as a celebrity. Eventually Ben's secret would end up getting out to the public. It's just how they implement that very aspect of the series that matters the most. What should have been done is that people should honor Ben for his sheer heroism and be inspired by all the good that he's done. Not treat him like a celebrity. The writers should've had people view Ben much like how Ben 10,000 was viewed as in the Original Series. Not like how Ben was viewed as in Ultimate Alien and Omniverse. Ben should be seen as a hero. Not as a celebrity.

@Tactical-Ochoa That's way better and would help Ben not have such a huge ego like in Omniverse. Maybe like have him fight a really powerful villain and having a tough time fighting that villain and people watch in amazement and showing his self-sacrificing side to protect those people. (earning those peoples respect as we'll even his bullies grow to respect him)

@Rexfan1333 That's pretty much one of the best ways that this can be done. Either way, just overall have people see Ben as the very hero that he is and there we go. That's really all that needs to be done with that very concept.

@Tactical-Ochoa Yeah, I like the idea of a underdog hero with a tough life, but still sees the good in people Ben than a celebrity hero who is arragont with a huge ego Ben.

@coreofthesun Venom is a better comparison to Kevin. I wouldn't be surprised either if the creation of Ben was inspired by Peter. Makes sense to me since that Man of Action were former Marvel writers before they formed Man of Action. That's one of the things that made Ben at his best. When he's being cocky and fun-loving yet also mature and serious. This is something that I think the Original Series did well with and the sequel shows and the reboot show often fell short on. Ben was either too serious and therefore boring and uninteresting to watch or too much of a goofball and therefore became annoying and unlikable. I felt that the Original Series had a good balance between the two sides of Ben. In fact, I say that the Original Series had a good balance of a lot of things. The characters, the tone, etc. I think it also helps that Ben had Gwen by his side. I think one of Omniverse's biggest mistakes was separating Ben and Gwen. Those two just work so well together. They balance each other out. They keep each other in check. They're like Batman and Robin, or on the topic of Spider Man, like Peter Parker and Mary Jane. I think Ben doesn't work well as a character without Gwen and vice versa. It's why I don't think Ben worked well as a character in Omniverse and it's why I don't think a Gwen spin-off show would work either.

Well, I don't know about the series, but when I was reading Little Moments and Breaking Point, there was this one song that was going on in my mind and that I thought fit the situation in the story too perfectly! "They don't know about us" by 1D. I mean, I can almost hear Ben singing the song when their parents discover about them!

That's an interesting idea for a Ben 10 game. I would honestly pay so much to play it. (It has a cool premise)

@Omni-Triforcer And I don't think and feel that the next Ben 10 show will be any good and even if it does turn out to be good, I don't think it'll end up successful enough in merchandise sales for Cartoon Network to keep it on the air and it's most likely that it'll last one or two seasons and I back that very claim up with valid evidence that greatly helps back up that claim, even though we know little about the show. There is evidence that can back up your claim but you either aren't looking hard enough or you're not even bothering to look around. Again, I don't just want to know the "what" of your argument. I want to know the "why" as well. I am giving you a guide here that can help you out. I'm getting sick and tired of you giving all these claims yet giving very little to no explanation and information to back them up and a lot of what you do explain is sheer bullshit. What makes you think that regardless of how good my game is, it'll probably have the same amount of sales? What makes you think that PlatinumGames and I will even make this game just for kids especially when 26% of all gamers are under the age of 18? What about all the Ben 10 and PlatinumGames fans out there that this game would be marketed to the most? http://www.theesa.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/ESA-Essential-Facts-2015.pdf What about the next Ben 10 show? Why do you think that the next Ben 10 show will turn out to be good? Yes you can back that claim up even though there is little information that we know about the show. Why should I stop being so negative even though I provided a valid and persuasive argument on the Ben 10 remake? I made an entire page for the purpose of backing up my argument. Make an argument that can convince me that the next Ben 10 show will be good and will stay on the air even with low toy sales. What I want from you is for you to convince me. If you just want to give out the "whats," if you just want to make claims and not back them up with evidence, then ok, that's fine but it's not going to do you much good, if not no good at all. It's not going to convince many and more often than not, there's going to be many individuals out there that's going to rip your claims apart and greatly discredit them because you don't back up your claim properly and thus give it any sort of defense from that. Overall, I'm just giving you some advice that can help you a lot in the future. Edit: My problem with you isn't the very claim that you made but it's that you don't back you claims up enough. That's why I'm giving you this very advice to help you out here.
