CN's treatment of Ben 10
-
@car54 Yeah, I'm pretty sure any company can make Ben 10 epic. CN just became super greedy and only want money, they don't care about animation anymore.
-
@Rexfan1333 Agree.
-
Agree i feel just about anyone can do better then what cn has been doing. Heck i would be fine with disney taking on Ben 10 and going the gravity falls route (although i wouldnt prefer it). I would love to see a japanese company take on ben 10. It would also be cool to see ben 10 in dc comics since his comics were published under dc i believe.
What companies do you guys think would best suit ben 10? -
@Omni-Triforcer I'm going with a Japanese anime network company/studio.
-
@Omni-Triforcer
A Disney style version of them would be interesting, but I really like the DC idea.
There are a lot of Ben 10 pics on deviantart that are better than what CN has done since the end of the original series. -
really! I have always said ben 10 has so much potential for great stories, great characters, and a great universe overall it just needs to get into the hands of someone who will actually care for it.
-
@car54 Hell, I've seen Ben 10 fan art that's even better than the Original Series artwork.
@Omni-Triforcer I know. That's something that I really want for Ben 10. To get it out of CN's hands and be put into a different network company that will give the series much more respect, passion, effort, and care into it. Ben 10 always had a lot of potential. The problem is that CN isn't properly utilizing that potential. I've even said it over and over again. Make a reboot that acts as a sequel to the Original Series. Let Man of Action take the series down the route that they intended for it to take. If CN isn't going to give Ben 10 the proper treatment it needs, then like I said before, it would probably be better for the reboot to fail anyways so that if MOA plays their cards right, they could get the series out of CN's hands and go make Ben 10 great again.
-
im thinking how exactly would MOA get the rights to ben 10 back? i highly doubt CN would give the rights to a potentially great show that is ben 10 and if the reboot fails whats stopping them from trying again and again (besides what fans want and lets be honest they arent listening to fans anymore)
-
@Tactical-Ochoa
I agree some of the art is even better than the original series. and a lot of the pics of them as teens look more like the original characters aged up than what we saw in AF.
I'd love to see MoA follow through with their original plan for a sequel series. -
@Omni-Triforcer If Ben 10 isn't earning CN a profit anymore, then they'll be more willing to just give up on it. That's the thing here with CN and their toy lines. No money, no show/series and with that, again, if MOA can play their cards right on that, they can get Ben 10 back in their hands.
-
@Omni-Triforcer I love the idea of Ben 10 comics done in DC Comics, would be even cooler to have crossovers with DC heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. (I can see Gwen being a WW fan girl as well)
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Me too
-
@Rexfan1333 @Omni-Triforcer DC Comics making ben 10 comics could be fine but I would rather not let DC and/or Warner Bros themselves make Ben 10 shows since that Warner Bros is under the same umbrella as CN since that both Warner Bros and CN are part of the Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. Therefore, if DC or Warners Bros make a Ben 10 show, the series might end up being back in CN's hands again. Again, DC Comics making Ben 10 could be fine to do. Just something I want to mention here as well.
-
@Omni-Triforcer I wouldn't want Ben 10 just be fan service, it's just CN doesn't care and are making Ben 10 for the toys. I feel if CN cared about the series as well as the story and characters enough (which they don't, they haven't done any thing for the 10 year Omniversary) the series would be great like it was before the sequels.
-
@Rexfan1333 Agree. Even the fact that CN did nothing for the 10th Anniversary of the Ben 10 series shows just how much CN doesn't care about Ben 10. I mean like a great way to celebrate the 10th Anniversary would be to do a marathon of the Ben 10 Original Series. At least that's my way to celebrate Ben 10. Hell, the Ben 10 Club celebrated the 10th Anniversary with a live stream Anniversary Event on YouTube. We could of even had someone from MOA participate in the interview. At least that's what the Ben 10 Club tried to set up but unfortunately it wasn't able to happen. At least I got a chance to participate in an interview for the event. Either way, this series just needs to be taken out of CN's hands because they just don't treat it well anymore yet the Ben 10 Club is one of the many prominent examples that shows that there are still a lot of fans that truly care for this series and only want the best for Ben 10.
Hell, you guys want a much better sequel to the Original Series that gives Ben 10 the justice and respect it needs and deserves, look up those Ben 10 fan fiction stories that I linked on this website. Trust me, you will be in for one hell of a great treat.

@Rexfan1333 ive always wanted to see a ben 10 vs beast boy fight. I also just realized the Man Of Action should try to get the rights to generator rex back to.

I don't know if this thread is the right place to post it but this Tumblr user basically said everything I think about the haters of this reboot who keep annoying other people who want to give it a chance and probably are annoying CN and MOA too:
Dear small minority of the Ben 10 fandom, they’re not going to cancel the reboot just because you hate it. Stop humiliating yourselves and just give up! Whether you want it or not, it will happen and the new generation of children are going to like it.And here's another post from the same user who describes quite well what I feel:
Why so many people can’t understand that the reboot won’t be canceled just because they want something darker and edgier? Cartoon Network has a lot of money and they won’t stop making more just because you’ll stop watching them. Some fans genuinely like the reboot (like me) and don’t care if it’ll be lighter and sofrer or not. Many new fans are going to appear and no one is going to miss you haters! The reboot will premiere this year in most countries, just deal with it. Cartoon Network and Man of Action aren’t hearing the haters, they are following their own opinions. So… Um… Just shut up, nothing is gonna change!I know, he was kinda rude at the end of the text but I think he was completely right! Stop saying bad things about the reboot and just wait until October. If you hate it, just don't watch! You don't need to ruin the fun of the ones who want this reboot to succeed.
-
@GoodVibes1999 I'm not hating on the reboot (I hope it will be good to be honest), I'm just saying it just feels like they are not even trying to make it good and just revving it for the money and not for love.
-
@Rexfan1333 I know that now, my message was to the ones who keep saying bad things about the reboot without watching it first.
-
@GoodVibes1999 I don't hate the art, but it feels a bit too simplistic (a lot of CN shows are these days), I understand you are giving it a chance and I am too, I just don't want a dumb down version of the original series. I hope it won't go that route. Hope you understand.
