Season 1 Finale Discussion

I just finished watching Omni-tricked and wanted to discuss a few things. First, obviously, Phil knows more about the Omnitrix and hopefully his character will be explored more in Season 2. Also, clearly the Omnitrix was upgraded and that is most likely why some of Ben's aliens will look different in Season 2 (image below). At the end of the episode we get a glimpse at the alien seen at the toy fair (image below). Finally, I guess that Gax is gone now unless if when the Omnitrix was upgrade his DNA was some how preserved or if Ben unlocks him again when he fights Vilgax in Season 2.
Overall, I thought that this was a great episode and hope that Season 2 has more episodes like this. Also, I liked how they created a brand new story to introduce Vilgax. This story reminds me of how they introduced Ghostfreak/Z'Skayr in the Original Series.

I'm pretty sure Vilgax removed Gax from the omnitrix when regaining his power, so we most likely won't be seeing him again.

THAT WAS AMAZING!!! It felt like there were actual stakes. If this is how the show continues to be then im excited for season 2.

I thought this 4 parter was good. Not great, but just good. But this was so bizarre from what I'm used to seeing in Ben 10. Have you ever seen something so different that you just can't comprehend it? That's really how I feel right now.

@Omni-Triforcer I did love it, but it just felt weird. For me it didn't feel like the original series. But instead it felt as if it created something new out of Ben 10 that I wouldn't expect out of the original series.
@Jambamthankyou I don't think the reboot will ever feel like the Original Series and i don't think they are trying to do that.

@GoodVibes1999 I am too. The only thing is that I hope that the stakes are high in Season 2, what it was like in the finale.

I would love it if they continued the reboot on Cartoon Network and then put a show, maybe Ben 10,000, on Adult Swim. Then their would be one show that is light and then a show that could be a lot darker.

Would be cool but would not happen. Ben 10 is a kids show im not sure how well it will fit into the adult demographic.

@Omni-Triforcer I haven't seen it yet but I will. When I get back to my share house today after my language class, I'll check out the episodes and give my thoughts on Omni-Tricked.

I haven't been this excited watching a ben10 episode in a long time The last time was when Ben got the new omnitrix at the end of UA .this episode really did the reboot justice and I actually teared up a bit when i saw that ben was actually willing to sacrifice himself to save Gwen ,Max and Phil.I have a feeling that season 2 will be better than season 1 but it won't be as good as these last 4 episodes
