  • ...and there goes that notion. kevin just has ben's powers.
    FUCK.

  • Man, i'm in bargaining phase right now. I really do hope that he at least has something, ANYTHING going for him. Like...i kinda want to think he might have a different set of aliens, and hot shot is an exception, but honestly, this seems unlikely. They're just gonna give him ben's powers, and maybe throw in an 11th alien. This is very upsetting, but once again, i'll try to not make a final judgement until he actively debuts in an episode.

  • ...and i agree with the above, the antitrix is a terrible name. i could come up with something better. even "Negasus" would sound better.

  • "Kevin has Ben's powers"
Uhhhhh, I mean, isn't that what he was supposed to be??? He always had Ben's powers when they were enemies, just most of the time, it was as a fusion mutation. At least now, the rivalry will be more blatant (like Albedo was meant to be)

@ungrateful-wolf he got ben's powers via his own, giving him what ben had, plus his own abilities. here, in the reboot, he just has the anti trix. it takes away the unique part of kevin, which is upsetting.

  • I guess it does take away some of his uniqueness to absorb. Though it may be for the better, since we'd get to see more of him in this season (he appeared about 4 times in OS). Plus, not being an ugly alien mutant right away allows for more screentime, as well as to show more diversity with the alien designs (I know, I know, this allows for more toys, marketing and blablabla).

Also, during OS era, I barely remember him using his absorption beside his debut, later appearances had him just use Ben's aliens. So, it's not gonna make that much of a difference, it could bring him closer to Albedo (like Frightwig and Morningstar were brought closer to OG Kevin, being kids with powers like Ben does but choosing to hurt others and cause mischief for fun instead).

@ungrateful-wolf I only kinda agree. it is nice to see diversity in designs, but i don't think that screentime is relative to his design. And while you have a point about absorption, he had it in his arsenal, and he didn't even use ghostfreak powers either. We'll just need to see where it goes.

  • 9 new eps on the app

  • i do not have access to the app, so if you could explain what happens in these episodes, that would be nice.

  • also, we need to start a new thread. this is too long, and not on season 2.

  • The reboot saved Ben 10

@offbeatcat Well, yes, not a lot of people look at the bright side of the Ben 10 reboot because the flaws that it has overshadow the positives of it. That happens all the time with various movies, shows, video games, etc. If the negatives outweigh the positives, people focus more on criticizing and pointing out the negatives more than praising the positives. Ghostbusters (2016), Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Suicide Squad, Metal Gear Survive, the Powerpuff Girls reboot, etc. are all examples of it. It works the other way around as well. If the positives outweigh the negatives, people praise the positives more than they criticize and point out the negatives (well, that's unless they're far left SJWs because those folks always look for negatives in everything for political reasons). Nier Automata, Doom (2016), the original Teen Titans, Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dunkirk, Batman: The Dark Knight, Logan, Deadpool 1 and 2, Forrest Gump, etc. There are some exceptions out there but overall, that's generally how most people are.

Im getting used to gwens design little by little. Im still wondering whos voicing her. Max looks pretty good to thankfully they kept his red flower shirt in tact since it so iconic with the character.

@Ebomnitrix And there's your episodes folks. I'm going to make a part 3 to Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot. Part 2 is already going on for long enough now and I plan on having part 3 be made specifically to discuss and comment on the episodes of the Ben 10 reboot. Here is the link to part 3. http://ben10club.org/topic/181/addressing-the-ben-10-reboot-part-3
