Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot
-
@Ebomnitrix And i cant wait to see it. Im missing my weekly fill of ben 10
-
@Omni-Triforcer If you're missing your weekly fill of Ben 10, why not just re-watch some of the previous shows for the time being? Just saying.

I meant new ben 10
-
@Omni-Triforcer Ok
-
- Its funny how this is repeated on the Ben 10 Englishboards
- @ Tactica-Ocha, I have a feeling if anything, it'll be kinda like the Powerpuff Girls Reboot, but it'll fit to more Ben 10's style since PPG has been nothing but... that... which closely resembles the original but different, but I can see the Ben 10 one having its same fix as it had before, at least I hope it does.

Yeah i post some things twice since there are people that are not on both forums.
I hope the ben 10 reboot does not turn out like the ppg one. Im not that into the ppg reboot its to silly for me even moreso then the original. I course i want some comedy in the show but i want alot of action to. -
@Omni-Triforcer Yea you totally right i don't want to see a full comedy show it has to show many action as the original series and not as The Power Puff Girls that will damage the show and the fans. New fans Will probaly love it because some of them have
never see the the series (Little kids like 5 or 6 will probaly love it if it go to THE Power Puff Girls route) but i tink it doesn't go down that route of corse we want some comedy but not a full comedy show i hope we get à new succesfull Ben 10 serie! -
@Omni-Triforcer Yeah, I hope Ben 10 won't be comedy based like the PPG reboot too. I'm still shocked they cut out Ms. Bellum, What the hell CN!?
-
@Ebomnitrix Yeah, I have a feeling that the Ben 10 reboot is going to be of the same or similar quality to the PPG reboot, if not Teen Titans Go!. After all, people certainly don't want to have stuff like the main characters twerking, gender politics and bad stereotypes, bad writing, not up to par animation quality, spoofs and parodies, etc in the Ben 10 reboot. Yeah, we better get a good quality show out of the Ben 10 reboot because I've noticed that on IMDB alone the rating has dropped this week from a 7 out of 10 to a 6 out of 10 and again, that's just IMDB. It's even worse on YouTube, Twitter, etc. I'm seeing a lot of people being really pissed off about the PPG reboot so yeah again CN better not screw up the Ben 10 reboot.
-
Judging by the PPG reboot, the USA are going to hate the reboot when South America and possibly Europe will love it.
-
@GoodVibes1999 How do you know that people in South America and Europe love the PPG reboot or the Ben 10 reboot?
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Because most of the people here in South America (or at least in my country Brazil) have somewhat positive opinions about the PPG reboot. And Ben 10 seems to be quite big in some South American and European countries. They kinda are the reason for the reboot's existence, I guess.
-
@GoodVibes1999 Well where is the proof of that? If most people in South America or just Brazil have positive views on the PPG reboot, where and how did you specifically find that out from? So far, IMDB is the only site that I could find that has a viewer rating for the PPG reboot and that site doesn't reflect a specific location or region.
-
@GoodVibes1999 Also, Ben 10's popularity in South America and Europe is not the actual and most significant reason as to why Cartoon Network is making the Ben 10 reboot. The actual reason is that Ben 10 still has strong name recognition due to still being popular worldwide and considering Cartoon Network's current business practices, I'd say that the actual and most significant reason why the Ben 10 reboot is being made is because Cartoon Network wants to again use the series' name recognition, as well as Man of Action's name recognition, just to further cash in on the series through selling toys and other merchandise, even though I don't see the merchandise sales to go well since that Ultimate Alien and Omniverse's toy sales were quite poor. Ultimate Alien's toy sales even negatively impacted Omniverse's toy sales which thus negatively impacted Omniverse since that CN responded to those sales by screwing over Omniverse.

Well we are now roughly 4 months away (assuming its in september) from the international (except for the U.S) premiere of the Ben 10 Reboot. I expect to be hearing at least some news about it fairly soon. I at least want to hear a release date or see a small promo. Just give us SOMETHING Soon and i for one would be truly grateful.
-
@Omni-Triforcer Yup.
-
Okay everybody, I got some real big news.
Cartoon Network begins its Upfront starting May 18, what that means is, they will be announcing what shows are coming back/getting renewed, and what shows they're going to announce.
So if I'm right, cause they did this with every new show they've had, we might get a description based on what the Ben 10 reboot is going to be about, and if we're really lucky an image from the Reboot (or even poster).
For now, all we can do is stay tuned for the next update. I'll keep us posted. -
@Ebomnitrix Ok, good. The Upfront is really late this year.
-
Well hopefully we get some news.
-
@Ebomnitrix Thank you for sharing that. This is great news here. We already know what the premise of the Ben 10 reboot is going to be about though. Still, anything new about the Ben 10 reboot would be nice to know about.
