@JrPhilgene I don't see that happening honestly, they are very different shows, but who knows, I honestly don't see it happening because they already did a crossover with Uncle Grandpa.

@andrew42 Some of these theories are interesting but until the show itself establishes any of this, I just don't buy it at the moment. Also, even though I compare the Ben 10 reboot to the previous shows (mostly the original show), I would really rely on what was established in any of the previous shows to explain certain elements in the reboot...because this is a full continuity reboot. Everything that the previous shows established doesn't apply to this show. They could (and very much often have) use elements from the previous shows but this show is still separate from the previous shows. I also agree with @Oldtaku_dd. With the way that this show is structured as, I doubt that the Ben 10 reboot is going to get as deep as you guys try to discuss it as.

Taking it as face value, Ben's DNA got deleted (or it glitch out or something) from the Omnitrix and somehow Vilgax was able to restore Ben's DNA. That's it. That's all I got to say about that very aspect of Omni-Tricked so far and I doubt that the show is going to go any deeper with that. If Ben's DNA really did get deleted from the Omnitrix, then it doesn't make sense as to how Vilgax restored it since that Ben's DNA wouldn't even be in the Omnitrix anymore...because it got deleted.

Ben should've never got full control of Alien X. Using Serena and Bellicus was the perfect way to limit just how overpowered he is, and I feel that "Universe vs Tennyson" was made more due to the sheer popularity of Alien X and the general desire by the fandom to see Ben use him to his fullest. The fact that they gave him full control of Alien X after that was stupid and makes every other alien in the Omnitrix useless.

I'll admit, two things which bug me about Omniverse are the fully controlled Alien X and the failsafe which basically makes Ben unbeatable by turning him into the ideal alien for the situation if his life is at peril. That for me sucked out the stakes of the story since Ben can turn into a literal god anytime he wants and just snap the conflict away. It makes any serious situation involving Ben less meaningful because we know that 99 times out of 100. he's going to survive. I'm not opposed to Celestialsapiens existing but giving Ben full control of the transformation was a huge mistake. As was the Omnitrix failsafe.

I know that "But hey, Alien X" is practically a meme at this point but for the record Kuro does actually do a really good job in 5YL of explaining why Ben does everything he can not to use Alien X. As Ben gets older he understands more and more about Azmuth's true motivation behind creating the Omnitrix for greater understanding among different species rather than as a weapon. Ben knows that every alien in the watch matters and that he as the wielder of it should embody that principle. Of course he has his favourite aliens, but using Alien X for him would make the world that he protects not feel genuine (it's almost like using the cheat codes of a videogame), and he doesn't believe that he as a flawed human has the right to use the powers of a god shape reality to his choosing.

@jondennison72 I think it all depends on reception of 6th series and meeting expectations in toy sells from Cartoon Network viewpoint.

@devlin-11 Which one? There's two Ben 10 live action movies. Race Against Time and Alien Swarm. Each having different actors for Max and even then, Eiding is still better than the both of them. Like I said, as far as I know, no one else can deliver such a performance for Max Tennyson on the very level that Eiding did. Eiding is the best choice for Max and he should and needs to be Max in the reboot. There are others that can portray Max but, to me, Eiding still comes out on top.

Well, Tara Strong is going to voice Ben again for the Ben 10 reboot after all. Or at least be in the cast for the reboot. Thank god. At least we finally got something that's very good.

Well, I don't know about the series, but when I was reading Little Moments and Breaking Point, there was this one song that was going on in my mind and that I thought fit the situation in the story too perfectly!

I mean, I can almost hear Ben singing the song when their parents discover about them!

I'll probably buy them off the Amazon or something.
