Please Don't Make The Reboot Like This
-
**you guys do know that the reason Cartoon Network animations looks like this is because they are cartoons every cartoon studios now have better ways to draw the characters unlike in the 1990's-2010 and plus it's for KIDS not for adults watching little cartoons show if you're an adult and you still watch Cartoon Network you obviously don't have a job and stop complaining about how ugly it looks it meant for the kids so they will keep watching Cartoon Network no matter what the hell you people care
-
@cydia21cyanogen what's wrong with loving cartoons as an adult? I'm 22 and like My Little Pony (I'm not a brony, but I find it enjoyable) Ben 10 isn't just for kids (I grew up with the show and been a huge fan of it for years)
-
@Rexfan1333 Same with me. When ben 10 started i was 8 now 10 years later im 18 and still love the show no matter what anyone says (because believe me my brothers tease me all the time about watching ben 10.)
-
@cydia21cyanogen I'm 21 years old and I still enjoy cartoons. I believe I said this a while back on another page but there is really no such thing as a kids show. Anyone can enjoy any show no matter what it is and no matter how old the viewers are. A kid-friendly show would be a better term to use here. Also, go ahead and keep making insults to us. Let's see how well that goes for you.

So last night, a "special" premiere episode of the PPG reboot happened in I believe it was Austin, Texas. Now, that very premiere episode is on iTunes for free. If anyone wants to check it out, here's the link. I'm going to go ahead and check it out myself and later on maybe discuss my thoughts and opinions on it.

@Tactical-Ochoa Thanks for the heads up, I just downloaded it.

@cooljay7
Please Let us know if its worth watching or not. -
Yeah, the PPG reboot premiere episode is pretty much crap just as we expected. Most of the episode revolves around Buttercup becoming a guru while about a third of the episode involves fighting a villain called Man Boy. That's the very short and muscular lumberjack guy who describes himself as being "all the power of a man in the body of a boy." So basically, the first villain we see...is a child or something? Yeah, again, it's pretty much crap.
-
Oh so here's something interesting that explains a lot. Ever really wonder why the PPG reboot looks like the other CN show Clarence? That's because Bob Boyle is the producer of the PPG reboot. If that name doesn't ring a bell, Bob Boyle is the supervising producer of the show Clarence.
-
@Omni-Triforcer It's not good but I would watch it, since its only 11 minutes long.
-
@cooljay7 So was the original PPG show and that show was great.
Not only that but was Man Boy really the best that they could come up with as the first villain in the PPG reboot? The first episode of the original PPG had Mojo Jojo turning everyone in Townsville, including the PPG, into dogs so that he can take over Townsville. The second episode right after that introduced Sedusa, who was forming a relationship with Professor Utonium so that she can have the leverage to ground the PPG so that she can commit whatever crime she likes without the PPG interfering with her. What does Man Boy want to do? He wants to make Townsville manly again by destroying a Zen-aissance Fair and then after he gets defeated by Buttercup, he gains a grudge against her and only wants to focus on defeating Buttercup. Is that really it? That's the best they got? At least just bring back Mojo Jojo and have him try to take over or destroy Townsville while the PPG step in to stop him. At least that would be better than what they gave us for a premiere episode.

Thats why its good man of action is producing this.

@Omni-Triforcer If Bob Boyle is currently working with CN and CN Studios, there's a chance that he could be one of the producers of the Ben 10 reboot as well. Man of Action are the executive producers and John Fang is the supervising producer but that doesn't mean that they're the only producers of the show. There might be a chance that Boyle is one of the producers of the Ben 10 reboot. Some fans have noted some similarities with the Ben 10 reboot artwork and the show Clarence, which I have to agree with. There were also some similarities to Teen Titans Go! that were noted as well so there's a chance that some of the people that worked on Teen Titans Go! could be working on the Ben 10 reboot as well. No I'm not referring to the production company themselves. I'm referring to the specific producers, writers, editors, etc that were hired to work on these shows. For example, Sam Register was the executive producer of the original Ben 10 and Teen Titans series and yet he is currently the executive producer of Teen Titans Go! so there's a chance that he could be involved with the Ben 10 reboot. Either way, if Bob Boyle is working with Cartoon Network, chances are that he's involved with producing the Ben 10 reboot. We also don't know much on who is also working on the Ben 10 reboot other than Man of Action, John Fang, and CN Studios.
Hell, I've noticed that the PPG reboot animations isn't really up to par; especially when compared to the original PPG show, which had pretty great animations despite the art style and it was also made by Cartoon Network Studios so there's noting a degrade in the quality of their art designs and animations. The same goes for Ben 10. Cartoon Network Studios made every Ben 10 show. The Original Series had great animations yet Omniverse actually had a lot of animation errors and thinking back the animations overall weren't really that up to par. They weren't that bad but you can still notice a lot of slip ups in the animations. It's interesting and surprising that Cartoon Network Studios used to make some greatly animated shows years ago yet the quality of their animations is gradually degrading. If you're looking forward to the Ben 10 reboot having good animation quality, by the looks of what CN Studios had been doing in recent years, chances are that's not what you're going to get with the Ben 10 reboot. Chances are that we're actually going to get animation quality that is not up to par with CN Studios' past shows and is similar on the lines to what we are currently seeing with their recent shows such as the PPG reboot.
Like I said many times before, there are a lot of factors that are working against the Ben 10 reboot and that Man of Action might not be able to do enough to make the Ben 10 reboot any good because of all these factors such as what I'm mentioning here. History tells a different story here.

So, are you starting to like it a bit, or are you still trashing it?
-
@chronosapien234 What does my last post say to you? I don't hate the Ben 10 reboot. I just have low expectations on it and I don't think that it's going to be good. Everything that I mentioned, such as my previous post on this page explains every reason as to why me and many many other fans view the Ben 10 reboot this way. I do my homework on this type of stuff. Examine what we do know about the Ben 10 reboot and looking at the history of Cartoon Network and Cartoon Network Studios to truly determine what we're most likely going to get in the final product. My opinions and views on the Ben 10 reboot are based off of what I researched. I don't hate the Ben 10 reboot. I just don't like most of what it has and most of the factors that are affecting it.

Sadly while everyone else is optimistic after seeing this photo he/she is not.
-
@Omni-Triforcer Yet I hope that this reboot does turn out to be good. I hope that I'm wrong about my predictions. I'm a lot more cautious and skeptical than optimistic here. Also, you should already know that I'm a guy.

Sorry i wasnt actually sure and i didnt want to offend you by saying guy if you were a girl or vise versa.
-
@Omni-Triforcer No worries. I said that you should already know that I'm a guy because you did watch the Anniversary Special event and I was in the interview/discussion section of that event. Again, no worries.
