Please Don't Make The Reboot Like This
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Yeah, I miss the CN that had awesome shows like Sym Bionic Titan, the Thundercats remake, and Generator Rex. Those shows were awesome and wish they go back to that. What happened to the CN that showed both comedy and action cartoons? Wish we could go back to that.
-
@Rexfan1333 Not just those shows but the original PPG show, the original Ben 10, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed Edd n Eddy, Samurai Jack, etc. Shows that actually had a lot of respect, care, thought, effort, and amazing creativity put into them.

I think its pretty cool that Cartoon Network is doing this: "Cartoon Network’s revival of the popular franchise will bow with back-to-back episodes at 6 PM Monday, April 4. The Powerpuff Girls will then air each weeknight at 6 PM through April 15 as a lead-in to the show’s regular time slot on Thursdays at 6 PM beginning April 20". I hope they do something similar for the Ben 10 Reboot.

I saw a new picture of reboot Ben in a Dutch CN promo... He looks thinner but his head is smaller and his anatomy is closer to a 10-year-old: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uBwRyHa0auc
-
@GoodVibes1999 damn was just about to post that.
I like it what do you guys think? -
@GoodVibes1999 The reboot Ben's head is not smaller. In fact, nothing about his appearance changed at all and I know this because I'm comparing this image of the reboot Ben to the image of the reboot Ben on the calendar cover that showed the reboot Diamondhead. The only thing that did change was his pose and facial expression. That's it.
@Omni-Triforcer Because this is just the same reboot Ben but in a different pose and having a different facial expression with nothing else about him. Nothing else about his appearance changed. Therefore, my opinions and criticisms on the reboot Ben still remain as they are.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa I feel it's starting to mature a bit which is good, but I understand your opinion, it's still cartoony, but at least it looks like you can take it seriously now.
-
@Rexfan1333 Thats basically what im thinking. His serious expression says to me that the show won't be non-serious all the time and will have some action packed moments.
-
@Omni-Triforcer Yes, and honestly it looks way better than the PPG reboot that's for sure.
-
@Rexfan1333 Yeah I think it is going to be a lot better than the Powderpuff Girls reboot.
-
@Rexfan1333 @Omni-Triforcer @cooljay7 Yeah, I understand where you guys are coming from I'm just saying that this new image of the reboot Ben presents nothing new and informative about the Ben 10 reboot. We already know that this reboot will have at least some action in it. It could either be more action-focused or comedy-focused and either one is fine if the show itself is actually good. I'm not saying that this image is going to tell us that the Ben 10 reboot is going to be good or bad. In fact, looks can be deceiving as well. The way I see it, this image just tells us what we already know here and that's really just it. That's all I'm saying here.

**you guys do know that the reason Cartoon Network animations looks like this is because they are cartoons every cartoon studios now have better ways to draw the characters unlike in the 1990's-2010 and plus it's for KIDS not for adults watching little cartoons show if you're an adult and you still watch Cartoon Network you obviously don't have a job and stop complaining about how ugly it looks it meant for the kids so they will keep watching Cartoon Network no matter what the hell you people care
-
@cydia21cyanogen what's wrong with loving cartoons as an adult? I'm 22 and like My Little Pony (I'm not a brony, but I find it enjoyable) Ben 10 isn't just for kids (I grew up with the show and been a huge fan of it for years)
-
@Rexfan1333 Same with me. When ben 10 started i was 8 now 10 years later im 18 and still love the show no matter what anyone says (because believe me my brothers tease me all the time about watching ben 10.)
-
@cydia21cyanogen I'm 21 years old and I still enjoy cartoons. I believe I said this a while back on another page but there is really no such thing as a kids show. Anyone can enjoy any show no matter what it is and no matter how old the viewers are. A kid-friendly show would be a better term to use here. Also, go ahead and keep making insults to us. Let's see how well that goes for you.

So last night, a "special" premiere episode of the PPG reboot happened in I believe it was Austin, Texas. Now, that very premiere episode is on iTunes for free. If anyone wants to check it out, here's the link. I'm going to go ahead and check it out myself and later on maybe discuss my thoughts and opinions on it.

@Tactical-Ochoa Thanks for the heads up, I just downloaded it.

@cooljay7
Please Let us know if its worth watching or not. -
Yeah, the PPG reboot premiere episode is pretty much crap just as we expected. Most of the episode revolves around Buttercup becoming a guru while about a third of the episode involves fighting a villain called Man Boy. That's the very short and muscular lumberjack guy who describes himself as being "all the power of a man in the body of a boy." So basically, the first villain we see...is a child or something? Yeah, again, it's pretty much crap.
-
Oh so here's something interesting that explains a lot. Ever really wonder why the PPG reboot looks like the other CN show Clarence? That's because Bob Boyle is the producer of the PPG reboot. If that name doesn't ring a bell, Bob Boyle is the supervising producer of the show Clarence.
