Ben 10 Reboot whish

@Omni-Triforcer yeah, but he does fight in human form. They could of at least make him look cooler, but NO, they just made him lamer and they even made him act like kid Ben too much. (I liked his design in UAF because he showed some muscle, he was mature, and he was quite tall, what the heck happened?)
I do hope we might have better character development between Ben and Gwen (that's really important to me because I have cousins that used to get on my nerves, but I love them more than anything)
Same with me with me i had a cousin that i hated and now we are really close. -
@Omni-Triforcer Yeah, love to to see some of that in this reboot have some emotional moments between them. (I think that might be asking too much though)
-
@Ben-10-Fan Well, obviously, I very much hope that this reboot does turn out to be good but my expectations are saying otherwise. Yeah, I'm more of expecting this show to be just another comedy show made by CN. Even with MOA's involvement in the reboot. I don't want for that to happen but hoping for the best can only get you so far. I'd just rather rely more on my expectations than hopes and wishes in order to avoid experiencing major disappointment in the reboot.
-
Now that I've been thinking a little bit here. Wasn't one of MOA's previous animated series (can't remember which one) comedic? Also, I heard somewhere that everyone working on the show also worked in Mixels, Generator Rex and/or had extremely small and unimportant roles in the original series. And I kinda want to see Ben's mom (looking like a cartoon version of Beth Littleford like in UAF and Omniverse), Ben's dad (looking like a younger and thinner Max like in the original series), Ben 10,000 and Ken (keeping his tanned skin, even though Ben and Kai probably won't get together in this timeline) to appear in some episodes.

@GoodVibes1999 Was it Ultimate Spider-Man? That's the most comedic show that Man of Action was involved with at the moment so far. If so, that show wasn't well received that much. I heard a lot of people really dislike/hated that show so not a good example to use. Is it fine if Ben 10 had some comedic elements like in the Original Series? Yes, it's fine. That's what me and many others want out of the reboot. To be an action/adventure show with comedic elements. Not a comedy show.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Yep, that show. I'll stop being a dreamer for one second and be honest and realistic: The comedy in the reboot probably will be at the same level as Generator Rex but multiplied by ten. Is it a bad thing? Well, maybe not. GR has pretty great action scenes and I think the same thing will happen to the reboot! CN and MOA probably know they're dealing with a tough crowd and must be trying to not make the comedy too childish or too gross.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa I hope it's well written comedy that kids, teens, and adults would like. (not the childish kind like OV) I hope CN learned their lesson from OV.
-
@GoodVibes1999 This is CN that we're talking about here. Look at their track record in recent years. They've been trying to build up a comedy trend with their recent shows. They focus more on the money, paying very little to no respect, passion, care, and effort to their shows. Even paying very little attention to what their viewers really truly want out of this reboot or really any show on their channel. I bet you anything that CN isn't even trying with this reboot. As long as the Ben 10 reboot makes them money, CN will have that show made however they like. What I'm expecting, and hoping doesn't happen, is that this reboot will be more like Teen Titans Go! with maybe at least more action elements than TTG. What you're explaining here is not realistic because CN is CN and all they care about at the moment is the money. I believe and expect this reboot to be the Teen Titans Go! of Ben 10. I hope that's not the case but, again, I'd rather stick with my expectations than my hopes and wishes, regardless as to whether or not I like the expectations that I have.
-
@Rexfan1333 I doubt CN learned their lesson from Omniverse. I'd say that if CN is to really learn their lesson and turn things around for the better, then they need to receive a lot of hurt and pain with that lesson. They need to experience a major and significant failure on their network and/or their status as a company in order to really think things through and decide to actually put in some actual passion, respect, care, and effort into making their shows and listening to their viewers.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Well, I think Steven Universe is a good comedy series. Some people may hate it but I think it has a pretty cool story and some drama to match the comedy. One lousy reboot made by people who never watched the original series can't be compared to a reboot made by people who worked at the original series. And about CN supposedly controlling them: No creator of animated series (no matter the channel) is in charge of their own creation by themselves.

@GoodVibes1999 Steven Universe is fine. A lot of people do like it. Teen Titans Go! and the Ben 10 reboot are comparable when it comes to CN themselves and the way they treated these series. So yes, those two shows are comparable.
-
@Ben-10-Fan I agree with so many of the others, I'm worried they will go the TTG route.
I'd like to see Charmcaster and Dr.Animo back and I'd like to see Kevin as a villain again...and I don't mean Gwen's "bad boy" crush. I mean as Ben's nemesis.
I know it will never happen but I'd like to see them go back to the original idea with Ben and Gwen being unrelated. or at least let us have a brief look at that universe. -
@car54 Yeah, that's definitely not going to happen. Even one of the leaked images of the Ben 10 reboot artwork states that Gwen would be Ben's cousin. Not only that but Gwen is now and has been defined as being Ben's cousin. It would be more likely that if she and Ben were not going to be cousins in the reboot, a lot, and I mean A LOT, of fans and viewers are going to be really pissed off about that. Again, yeah, that's definitely not going to happen. That concept is just better off in fan fiction at this point.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa I know, but since the question is what would you like to see. that would be it. Omniverse would have been a great series to give us a look at the original idea but for some reason they wouldn't do it.
I also expect them to change Kevin. My guess is he'll start as an enemy but Gwen will be able to change him....That thought made me nauseous. . -
Same here car also with me if Kevin is in the reboot I hope it is one episode and with the episode have them kill him off really fast like have be sucked into a space ships engine and have that ship explode
-
@KorseBLI-ND Uh, no. Too extreme there. Besides, they're not going to kill off Kevin. At least not that quickly. He's significant for the show's story and Ben's character development. Keep Kevin alive, at least for a while, keep him as a villain, and don't pair Kevin up with Gwen. Simple as that. There's no need to kill him off in the show.
-
Kevin was always much better as a villian the Kevin in af/ua is a totally different character then in os
-
@Omni-Triforcer Couldn't have said it better. The only thing the two characters have in common is a name. But I expect the reboot to try to retcon the character.
-
Tactical I was think how the incredbiles had their villain killed off towards the end of the movie also I just don't like Kevin especially how they had in alien force and the other shows
