Ben 10 reboot discussion: Season 3
-
@offbeatcat Which is why it's important to put in the effort to inform them better on what is and isn't good quality.
-
@tactical-ochoa we've been doing that. We keep doing it, but nothing changes, nor shows any sign of changing. we're a minority. is there really a point in crusading for something better, when we're likely not going to get it?
-
-
@tactical-ochoa kinda hard to do so.
-
@offbeatcat Well, try harder. Be more like Oddball. Dig just how beautiful it is out there. Say something more righteous and hopeful. Lol.
-
@tactical-ochoa I can't figure you out. half the time you're a stone cold critic who doesn't wanna hear my misplaced optimism, but somehow when i start getting cynical you're an optimist.
-
Say I wonder when they're release more new episodes of Ben 10 Reboot season 3? Like to see a new episode when Grandpa Max tells Ben and Gwen how he spend his college days at State University with his friends. And that episode of Ben and Gwen and Max at a family or a friend's wedding episode.
-
When they ever aired more new episodes of Ben 10 Reboot season 3 including King Of The Castle and Big in Japan soon?
-
Omni-Kix Diamondhead, Heatblast, and Humungousaur were shown off at the NY Toy Fair https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qaAZwo-EEU&frags=pl%2Cwn (they are at 2:05). In my opinion, Omni-Kix only exists just so the reboot can sell more toys. When looking at the video, I honestly couldn't even tell that Humungousaur was the middle figure -- I thought it was just a new alien.
-
@cooljay7 Of course it only exists just to sell more toys. The same went with Omni-Enhancements. The whole reason and purpose for the reboot show overall to exist is to sell toys.
-
So Kevin is getting his own spinoff series

-
Geez, we've barely even started on season 3 and they're already developing a season 4 AND a spinoff? They're starting to get a little in over their head...
-
Well, this confirms the theory. They're building the new seasons around merchandise, and they begin development of a new season before a season even finishes.
-
I suspect a burnout could be in the future if they keep rushing like this.
-
@Offbeatcat Same here. A burnout from both fans and viewers and likely the people working on Ben 10 as well. No one asked for this. No one asked for a show based around Kevin.
-
Well, what do you think it's going to be like? Do you think that the formula will be any different?
-
@Offbeatcat If they're going with the reboot version of Kevin, I feel as if it's not really going to be much different from reboot Ben considering that Kevin (for some stupid and unnecessary reason) now has his own Omnitrix instead of his original abilities. Granted, Kevin'll likely be even worse than Ben considering how Kevin acts like such a childish brat that intentionally bullies others and finds enjoyment out of it. Why should people root for someone like him in his own spin-off show? Even then, I just find it to be unnecessary overall. Kevin (old and new version) isn't the type of character that's really deserving of his own spin-off.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa It prob is reboot Kevin but it would be awesome if it was the og Kevin.
-
If it was the OS Kevin we could see a lot more screen time of the villains from Ben 10.
-
@cooljay7 Well, like I said, I don't find old and new version of Kevin to really be the type of character to deserve a spin-off show based around him. At least to me, I don't really care about giving more screen time to the villains of the franchise. I care more about fulfilling that potential that the franchise still has and further developing Ben and Gwen as characters as well as Ken and Devlin. I care more about going for that Ben 10,000 direction. Etc. That's something that the franchise actually needs. Not some unnecessary spin-off of Kevin.
