Why did omiverse chromastone got a redesgin

Just wondering in the episode A new dawn chromastone looked way different then he did in Trouble Helix
The Original omiverse design was way better so why did they changed it ?

I actually thought the redesign looked pretty ok but i agree i dont know why they had to do it especially with it being the literal last episode of the show i don't think anyone would have cared if they left him out or just used the old design. I feel the same way about Rath in secret of dos santos. I didn't see the point in changing his design for only one appearance.
