Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot Part 2

@Omni-Triforcer Yes but I'm not looking forward to it.

Well I am

@JrPhilgene said in Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot Part 2:
Well I am
and so i am. I don't care if its not gonna be the same as the other ben 10 shows. It's Ben 10 and i just can't wait to see more Ben 10 Episodes.
-
@Omni-Triforcer @JrPhilgene And that's fine. What you should care about though is the overall reception that the Ben 10 reboot is most likely going to have. If the show doesn't deliver, it's going to get too little support for Cartoon Network to want to continue it. Like I said, the majority is always going to speak out more than the minority and those that are unfavorable towards the reboot are in the majority. Cartoon Network is certainly not going to keep making more Ben 10 shows and episodes if this ends up being the case. It won't matter how good you or anyone else finds the Ben 10 reboot to be. If it doesn't get enough support from fans and viewers and doesn't become successful enough for continuations to follow, chances are that you could say goodbye to Ben 10. Either for a while or for good. Cartoon Network's not going to be able to do this forever where they cater to the minority. It's hurting them bad and is still continuing to hurt them even more.
The Ben 10 reboot might only last for two seasons. Maybe those first 40 episodes that we're getting is all that we're getting. Hell, there's even a chance that Cartoon Network might not even finish airing the first season if the reception and lack of support is that bad. If the reboot gets critically panned and doesn't become successful, it just might convince Cartoon Network that Ben 10 lost its value and decide to bring it to an end. No more episodes. No more shows. Chances are that the live-action movie would get shut down. No more continuations. No more Ben 10 from Cartoon Network at least.
So yeah, go ahead and look forward to the Ben 10 reboot but with the reception and reputation that it's getting now, you should also be very much concerned on what might happen if the Ben 10 reboot doesn't deliver and doesn't become a success. Cartoon Network is a business looking to make money after all and if the Ben 10 reboot doesn't deliver, at that point they're most likely, if not certainly, not going to continue the franchise after that.

Some more things then we saw/heard from the first Action Compilation

@Tactical-Ochoa Some things that you said had some very good points. Seriously
maybe are those 40 Episode's all the episode's what we get, with the hate that we have now.
The chance for a good Ben 10 Future is so very small (On Cartoon Network) plus MOA
has not much right to Ben 10 on Cartoon Network they need to air the show on another channel if they want or maybe they will stop with the whole Ben 10 as the people continues
with the hate comments as "My Childhood is ruined" or "Cancel and stop this Garbage". -
@Tactical-Ochoa you do make a good point but I'm not really worried I trust man of actions creative decisions and I have hope for the reboot
-
@JrPhilgene Again, that's fine. Now you just have to hope that the Ben 10 reboot will have a good and positive enough reception and support from other fans and viewers because they're the ones that are going to decide the fate of the reboot in the end.
-
So I was wondering what do you guys think Ben 10000s powers should be in the reboot ?we've had so many variations of him over the years so it would be interesting to see how this incarnation of him would be in terms of abilities and also his personality. Another thing i was wondering is that if they do age Ben and Gwen in the reboot or they have like a time skip how old would you want them to be?I'd want them to be 14 cuz I just thought they made Ben a bit too old in alien force but that's just me.
-
@JrPhilgene well I think he should be just regular ben 10,000
I think ben should be 15 again a year doesn't make that much of a difference dude -
@Omni-Triforcer it sorta does to me i dont really know why but for some strange reason him being 14 just feels right and with the reboot artstyle i think ben would look better 14

I made a page on the Ben 10 Reddit where I further cover my thoughts and concerns on that tweet by Duncan Rouleau where he mentions that he and the team would want to keep the meaning of the title of the reboot. Instead of typing my thoughts and opinion down again and using up more time, I'll just post the link to the Reddit page that I made on here.

9 DAYS Bro

@Ben-10-Fan Yeah, 9 days till we either hopefully get a good Ben 10 show or what will potentially be the worst Ben 10 show in the series. Let's hope it's the former.

Looking back at the new bios that were linked on here by @Omni-Triforcer, here's something that I want to mention in regards to the bio that Gwen has. It says that Gwen is wise beyond her age and is sometimes the voice of reason in the reboot. If that's really the intention of Gwen as a character in the reboot, then certain scenes in the reboot, such as the clip from "Take 10," that shows Gwen show her as being reckless and careless and even more importantly out of character. People say that, like with Ben, the show would likely have Gwen learn some lessons as well to make her less careless and reckless. However, based on that very bio, Gwen should already know better. Gwen should already understand that more important things should be more focused on than making a stupid movie with Ben. Again, according to the bio, she's already wise beyond her age and she's already the voice of reason so in that case, scenes such as the "Take 10" clip should've be played out differently where Gwen would follow what the bio states that she is as a character and get Ben to focus on the task at hand.

Speaking of the new bios of the main characters that were posted on the Cartoon Network website, someone on the Ben 10 Reddit actually pointed this out to me. In Max's bio, it states right at the end of the sentence, "endless road trip." This along with what was previously mentioned with Steven T. Seagle mentioning a the reboot revolving around an "eternal summer vacation" and Duncan Rouleau's tweet on Twitter about wanting to maintain the meaning of the title of the show and anything else that was missed is further alluding to the likelihood that in the reboot continuity, the characters aren't going to age and will end up on their summer road trip for an infinite amount of time.
-
I wonder what would Grandpa Max look like if he was a Sumo Slammer in the Reboot video game of Sumo Slammers?
-
I think that Ben and Gwen will age in the reboot but I I think instead of 15 it would be more like 12 or 13
