Samurai Jack Season 5 Discussion

@Mortie-10 In regards to the mysterious horse figure, I don't think that's something that Jack is going to fight physically but instead mentally. I think that mysterious horse figure is just part of Jack's mental instability, symbolizing how Jack lost his ways or something. Maybe the mysterious horse figure is supposed to symbolize Jack's destiny calling back to him or something.
Maybe Ashi and Jack could team up. That's a possibility that came to mind for me. I doubt the wolf is going to survive though.
As for the final showdown, that depends. Aku mentioned that he destroyed all of the portals that lead back to the past and even Jack is aware of this. Now did Aku destroy all of them? Maybe. The one that the Guardian was protecting could still be up and both Jack and Aku aren't aware of this. Plus, Jack is destined to use that very time portal.
For me, I'm not entirely sure how this season is going to end. It could end with Jack finally returning back to the past and therefore we get more of a happy ending or he could remain stuck in the future and therefore could die after finally defeating Aku. Those are the two best directions that I thought of that they could go and it feels like this season is setting itself up for that.

Anyone seen episode 3? I think the episode was fantastic. I knew the wolf would survive and I really believe Ahsi will join Jack after a while now. The fight against the sisters was intense. And maybe your right Tactical Ochoa, the mysterious horse figure is most probably something Jack has to fight mentally. Overall this is the best episode I have seen so far.
-
@Mortie-10 Well, look at that. The wolf did survive after all. Nice. And hold up there buddy. There's still 7 more episodes left. Who knows what's nest that they have planned in store for us.
-
So I looked up the Daughters of Aku and apparently Tara Strong voiced Ashi and Avi while Kari Dahlgren voiced Ami and Aki.
-
Im looking forward too see The Scotsman again.
-
@Mortie-10 Season 5 takes place 50 years after season 4. I doubt the Scotsman's coming back.
-
But I saw him in a trailer.
-
@Mortie-10 Really? I didn't notice him. Link?
-
@Mortie-10 Saw the trailer and looked up the Scotsman on the Samurai Jack wiki. Huh, I guess he is going to be in Season 5. Cool.

An interview with Greg Baldwin about Aku.

Episode 4 has aired. Got some nice banter between Jack and Ashi.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa Wonderful episode. Loved the interactions between Ahsi and Jack. The Aku-puncter joke was pretty funny. Looking forward to see the Scotsman vs. Aku in the next episode.
-
Episode 5 is now out.
-
Episode 6 is now out. Damn. Talk about a trip down memory lane. That's a great episode right there.
-
Oh god damn it. I knew this was a matter of time for this to happen to but still.

Umm, I'm sorry, but not every goddamn show needs a gay character, like even the CW forces it on us so much it gets annoying, and there's literally race and alien diversity.
ALSO for Scaramouch, THIS IS PART OF HIS CHARACTER, LITERALLY THERE WILL BE SOME PEOPLE LIKE THIS BUT EVEN THEN, ITS NOT SEXISM.
Samurai Jack has always been Samurai Jack and nothing has changed, the only thing that has changed is the exploration of adult themes, and even then it doesn't feel like a drastic change at all, people are just complaining because every show they think needs to be "REALISTIC, NEEDS LOGIC, ALL THIS AND THAT" like not every show has to follow these themes, its annoying and stupid and any show that's on TV can be its own thing as long as its good, which it is.
For a first negative review of this show, its pretty stupid people would say this at all, they're thinking at it too intelligently and really stupid because not every show has to have logic, gay characters, realistic approaches and whatever, a show can do whatever it wants as long as they do it in an entertaining and right way to the viewer, that's legit how TV shows should be. -
Sorry for not replying in a while. The last two episodes was fantastic. Seeing Ashis transformation was pretty good. Thats have you do character development. I don't like that Aku killed the Scotsman, but atleast he returned as a ghost. It was very nice to see him again. It was seeing all those people Jack helped again. And seeing Scaramouth and Demongo again was very suprising. And Scaramouths infamous line was the best line ever. And I really like seeing adult Ashi naked, even if she have been naked the whole time though. The scene with her as a child was very terryfiyng to watch. I also like the samurai song. And I loved that she saved Jack in the end. Would have been cool if the Grim Reaper was voiced by Greg Eagles like in Billy and Mandy though. I guess there is more to say, but whatever. Two fantastic episodes and Im looking forward to episode 7 and the rest of the season.

Episode 7 is out. Jack get's his swooord baaack. Also um, unless you're Jack himself, it's not the best idea to piss off Ashi...ever.
-
@Tactical-Ochoa What a good episode. It was great to see a "flashback" of good old Jack losing his sword. And it was epic as hell seeing Ashi defeat the whole army and her mother by herself. I doubt her mother is gone tough. And Jack finally got his sword and old look back. Now we are closing in to the finale, I wonder how it will turn out. My guess is that Jack dies and Ashi use the sword to kill Aku, or otherwise. Actually I hope both survive, but I think that one of them will die, but surely don't hope its Ashi. Shes my new favorite character.
-
@Mortie-10 Oh my god, Ashi just demolishes that entire army. I love how she uses one of the warriors as a shield to use to plow through a good chunk of the army, causing many of them to fall off the rock formation. I laughed so much from that scene. So ridiculously glorious. Like the movie "300" except it's just one chick and she freakin wins.
