Something recently came to mind and that is who I find to be a suitable choice to provide the voice of Ben 10,000/adult Ben Tennyson; especially for the direction for the redesign that I discussed here. That choice is Reuben Langdon, the voice of Dante from Devil May Cry 3 to the recently released Devil May Cry 5. Thinking back to Dante as a character and Langdon's performance of him (most notably his DMC5 performance), I find that Langdon would be a suitable choice to provide the voice of an adult Ben Tennyson. Dante is an incredibly cocky and fun-loving individual and the same can pretty much be said for Ben as well. Cocky and fun-loving while still treating more serious situations with, well, seriousness and focus. Plus, I also find Langdon's DMC5 Dante performance to also sound like a proper match for an adult Ben. If I were to imagine how Ben would sound like as an adult based on the voice that Tara Strong is well known for displaying, I say that Langdon's voice would be a very close match. Feel free to check out Dante in DMC5 and see for yourself if that sort of voice and this very voice actor would indeed be a good choice to voice an adult Ben or not.
@offbeatcat Well, yes, not a lot of people look at the bright side of the Ben 10 reboot because the flaws that it has overshadow the positives of it. That happens all the time with various movies, shows, video games, etc. If the negatives outweigh the positives, people focus more on criticizing and pointing out the negatives more than praising the positives. Ghostbusters (2016), Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Suicide Squad, Metal Gear Survive, the Powerpuff Girls reboot, etc. are all examples of it. It works the other way around as well. If the positives outweigh the negatives, people praise the positives more than they criticize and point out the negatives (well, that's unless they're far left SJWs because those folks always look for negatives in everything for political reasons). Nier Automata, Doom (2016), the original Teen Titans, Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dunkirk, Batman: The Dark Knight, Logan, Deadpool 1 and 2, Forrest Gump, etc. There are some exceptions out there but overall, that's generally how most people are.
@csgt I do agree with you on Charmcaster's UAF design. Granted, as shown in the quote that you're using to respond to, that's not the point that I'm addressing here. I'm not stating that Charmcaster's UAF design looks unique overall. I'm stating that it looks better and more unique than Charmcaster's reboot design. Even though her UAF design isn't really unique on its own, is most certainly not a design that I like and favor, and doesn't even hold a candle to Charmcaster's OS design, it is a better and more visually unique design when compared to Charmcaster's reboot design, which, again, looks very much like a typical and generic Goth girl.
Considering how they've handled the Ben 10 reboot so far, I doubt that they're going to make a connection between Hex and Charmcaster in the reboot.
Her first name being Hope and the concept of Ledgerdomain itself are pretty much the only things related to Charmcaster in UAF that I liked. Ledgerdomain does have some nice potential and Hope sounds pretty ironic considering what Charmcaster went through with Hex before the events of the Original Series. Everything else with Charmcaster in UAF is stuff that I don't like. I most especially don't like how they handled her relationship with Hex in UAF though given that it very much conflicts with what was established with them in the OS. Granted, you do make a good point. Charmcaster, and Hex, were terribly handled and written in the sequel shows. However, when it came down to Charmcaster as a character, I really only compared the reboot Charmcaster to the OS Charmcaster because yeah, Charmcaster went through a pretty severe downgrade in the sequel shows and Charmcaster was at her best in the OS.
I do have an interest in making an article about Charmcaster and analyzing her as a character, much like how I did with other characters such as Julie Yamamoto and Professor Paradox. I know for sure that this Charmcaster article is going to address the points about her in UAF that you made here.
@xlr8 Oh ho ho, no. If it was up to me, I would even let the movie touch the reboot not even with a 10-foot-pole.
As for voice actors, I'm familiar with The Fear from MGS3 and I guess that could be a good choice. Granted, I'd rather prefer using the original alien voice actors from the Original Series to provide the voices of the aliens.
