Gwen's paradox in Ben Again

I have thought about this a long time now: In Ben Again, teen Ben in young Ben's body ask Gwen to find him 5 years from now. But how could Gwen remember this if her memory is erased at the end of the episode?

@Mortie-10 As far as I can tell, none of the events in that episode matter anymore and never happened by the time the episode ended. To me, it made the episode pointless to exist because of that.
