Effects of Kevin Absorbing Energy from the Omnitrix

A while back, I gave my opinion and analysis as to the problems of Kevin being a hero character and why he is better off as a villain in the Ben 10 series in my "Addressing the Ben 10 Reboot" page. As a quick recap, I discussed how Kevin was the type of person that constantly wanted more for himself and how his behavior in the Original Series reflected more of a sociopathic and/or psychopathic individual. Someone with a serious mental health issue plus whatever else I missed. Overall, Kevin is more designed to be better suited as a villain. Well a while back, I posted a link to a page on FanFiction.net, called "Bwen Defense," on my discussion page about the concept of Bwen. I recently looked back at that fan fiction page and the paragraph that focused on Kevin made me realize something that I never thought about with Kevin in the Original Series. What would really be the effects of Kevin absorbing all that energy from the Omnitrix be? This is most especially considering the how all that energy from the Omnitrix would affect Kevin's brain and mind.
So as established in the Ben 10 sequel shows, if Kevin absorbs a large amount of energy, all that energy clouds his mind and he goes insane. This concept comes from when Kevin absorbed energy from the Omnitrix in the Original Series. However, what the writers, and even the fans, missed out on was that the effects of absorbing all that energy would very much likely damage Kevin's mind permanently. In fact, in the Original Series, considering Kevin's behavior, his 11-year-old mind and brain may have indeed been fried far beyond being repairable.
The "Bwen Defense" author, BenXGwen Lightning Warrior, describes in his/her argument that in Kevin's mutated state, he would be constantly bombarded from all that energy that he absorbed from the Omnitrix, greatly frying Kevin's nervous system and damaging his Prefrontal Cortex, which is where judgement and reason is handled at. This amount of energy that Kevin absorbed would also nullify his mind's ability to regenerate and recover. Wanting to gather more information, I asked the author more on this subject in PM and the author responded back by saying that Kevin's behavior lacks remorse and/or has very little control to it. When neurons (brain cells) transmit messages in the brain, they do so through emitting small electrical charges. With all that energy that Kevin absorbed, it interfered with the communication that these neurons have which is what leads up to the behavior problems that Kevin displays in the Original Series. The author also mentions how the radiation energy from the Omnitrix is especially dangerous since that it would cause irreparable damage to Kevin's mind and DNA since that all that energy that Kevin absorbed is also raw and uncontrollable. Now in case I get some of the wording and paraphrasing wrong, I'll post the link to the "Bwen Defense" page as well as quote what BenXGwen Lightning Warrior explained from his response to me in PM just in case. The part explaining this subject with Kevin is in the fourth paragraph. I'll also post a link that help to further explain the effects of energy on the functions of the brain.

With this in mind, I believe this is the defining factor that shows that Kevin isn't even supposed to be a hero character. Not everything has to be realistic in a science fiction show but not everything has to be unrealistic either. Considering Kevin's behavior in the Original Series, I believe that this is no coincidence and that Man of Action very much likely designed Kevin with these mental issues as a result of absorbing all that energy from the Omnitrix to consideration. As such, I have to agree with the author of the "Bwen Defense" page. Kevin would certainly not be able to make such a recovery from his behavior in the Original Series as seen in Alien Force, Ultimate Alien, and Omniverse. That considering all the irreparable and permanent damage done to him from absorbing all of that energy, Kevin can't actually change and become a good guy because his mind is too severely damaged to allow him to do so. Considering all that energy that Kevin absorbed from the Omnitrix and how much it greatly affected his mind through his behavior in his mutated state, I believe that Kevin is just not in the ideal state to be able to change his ways and be able to become a good guy. His mind is just too severely damage beyond repair to all his transition from villain to hero to actually happen.
So there's my thoughts and opinions on this subject as well as my interpretation on the information that I recently found out from this fan fiction writer in regards to Kevin absorbing all that energy from the Omnitrix. If anyone else wants to give their thoughts and opinions out on this, feel free to post them on this page.

@Tactical-Ochoa totally agree Kevins character is more a character as a villain for Ben hope he come back in the Reboot (as a villain) and it would be cool (on the side of a villain) That he again absorb the aliens DNA of Ben's omnitrix

@Ben-10-Fan Yeah, Kevin is better as a villain, kinda reminds me of what Spider-Man and Venom have in the comics, but I wouldn't mind seeing Kevin slowly develop as a hero or anti-hero though.

@Rexfan1333 It would have to depend on how they design Kevin in the Ben 10 reboot. If they pretty much do what they did before with Kevin in the Original Series, which I believe is going to happen, then it would be best to keep Kevin as a villain to avoid causing inconsistencies and discrepancies with Kevin as a character.
